Otherwise known as "properly raised law-abiding citizens."
Or just better at "hiding their sins."

Yep, I'm sure Sean Lee is a coked-up pedophile who beats his wife regularly.Or just better at "hiding their sins."
Amen! That's "too many" bud, get your spelling straight.
Or the judge could just me a judge and see that there is nothing here to prosecute.Or the judge might be a Michigan Wolverines fan and go easy on him. Sounds shallow, but there are judges like that.
Just for being a Cowboy in front of a judge.100% not guilty with an 8 game suspension by the NFL. Sounds about right.

He just puts on a good facade.
It happened a couple weeks after the Combine so who knows
You know you have those holier than thou types on here. To many of them, as a matter of fact.
Does not apply in the NFLHey, ever heard of innocent until proven guilty?
Elliott was being investigated for an incident in FL before the Draft in 2016Until the player signs a contract he is NOT a employee of the NFL and thus not subject to their control.
I've just hired and fired a bajillion people, and I've heard every excuse in the book for way too long.I'd love for them to post their personal information so we can research them
Sadly the people on here who cry and ***** about these types of things, don't have the balls to show us their resume. Instead they might make an excuse like " it's for my own personal protection"
Knowing damn well they probably have done more embarrassing things in their life.
It's usually the insecure type. Knock another down to feel better about their life
What irks me the most is the women that cry wolf "zekes ex" and no charges are filed against them. I can almost guarantee if Zeke had gone after her for slander or making false claims to police or what have you, the NFL's investigation would have been closed long ago.
Thanks for your comments -- I should preface my reply by stating I am not a lawyer. Your note tweaked my interest regarding the difference between assault and battery vs. DV. This is what I found in the statutes for Colorado:"visible injury" is not a legal standard for assault, (or assault and battery as some states call it). Bodily injury is required, but bodily injury is anything that caused pain. A finger thumb on the nose would probably hurt, but wouldn't leave a visible mark. It is still bodily injury under the law and if done without the thumpee's consent it is the same as a black eye from a criminal charge standpoint. The only difference is that the black eye usually carries a stiffer sentence.
Zeke had one incident before he was drafted and one after. The NFL investigation is concentrated on the one after.Didn't Zeke's, too? They're investigating that.
OJ is free on parole.I guess everything is as it seems. Hey look OJ is on tv.
