Lawd...don't tell me you believe that Palpatine's face was being hidden by the dark side?!? ;)

My take is that sith lightning drains life force and when Mace used VaaPad to funnel his own darkness back on him...the more powerful darkness Palpatine poured out, the the more he was physically "scarred and deformed".
Palpatine got you fooled too. His mastery of the Dark Side provided the illusion of what he always looked like.

Here is one clue. Sith lords can always be identified by their glowing yellow eyes. Tell me. When did you and everyone else first see Palpatine's eyes glow yellow in Episodes I, II and III?

Remember he was always a Sith and hid in broad daylight. ;)

Insubordination? Crap. I did not know I had changed into Jimmy Johnson.

5Stars. Admit it. Right here and now. You are going to keep me out of the CowboysZone Ring of Honor, aren't you? Be honest. And do not start telling any Tex Schramm wise tales either.

Better yet, you have a better chance of getting into the Ring Of Honor before Jimma does.

Jerry Jones sucks!

Give it up people. Dak is NOT going anywhere. He is our franchise QB and will be likely for a long while..

I would disagree just because we see that exact scenario playing out in todays NFL relatively often. The Packers moved Rodgers despite a backup with minimal reps, Seattle with Wilson, Carr was let go with no backup plan in place, etc. so it's not like that doesn't happen anymore. The fans will be heavily in the dark, but the Cowboys will see Lance in practice every day over the next few months. If Lance is balling out in practice and Dak just doesnt show up for a portion of this season (especially January) I think they will move on....the odds of both of those things happening though are pretty slim.
“balling out in practice”, let’s see if he can ball out enough to even replace Rush as QB2. How long should that take?

No idea, I'd just let it play out. It's a long season where a lot can happen. I just wouldn't talk as if there is any certainty around the topic one way or the other. I see realistic scenarios where Lance is the QB 1,2, or 3 next year, and both Dak and Lance will have a say in that.

A number of CZers remain adamant Prescott will be gone soon...and the Cowboys acquiring Lance just made them dig in their heels more.

Dont "we" turn on every qb who doesnt do that?

Lol acting like its just dak. Got a couple guys saying "not about football".

Lets ask romo about it.
Yep - or Aikman at the end who was booed or Meredith who we ran into retirement after leading the offense to two consecutive record breaking offensive years.

The fanbase can’t wait to turn on Dak. Just listen after the first home INT.

ESPN: Cowboys Save $34M on Cap If Dak Prescott Is Traded or Cut Before March 2024

Sooner or later, the Dallas Cowboys will have to put their money where their mouth is with star quarterback Dak Prescott.

The two-time Pro Bowler is due to be a free agent after the 2024 NFL season. ESPN's Dan Graziano noted Thursday, however, that the Cowboys will have a possible out out this offseason.

He wrote Dallas could save $34 million against the salary cap by trading or cutting Prescott before his roster bonus kicks in next March. He's due to have a $29 million base salary for 2024, and his bonus totals $5 million.

Graziano added that "the odds dramatically favor another Prescott extension that keeps him in Dallas long term." Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has signaled his desire to hold onto the 30-year-old while affirming his general confidence in the player.

This right here is example 1,000,000,000 of why ESPN is a cow crap filled dumpster fire of an organization. This team is a contender to win it all. Especially considering the week one massacre of the Giants. I can assure you no one with the Cowboys is thinking about cutting or trading Dak right now. Graziano is another in a long line of losers there that is just looking for clicks.

best case is Dak has a good year to earn the extension (as long as its not current market rate which it will probably be).
Cutting him sounds great cap wise, but who to replace him? I mean look at the Jets or Bears, great defense ruined by poor qb play constantly.
Cooper can get us to the playoffs for a fraction of what Dak makes.

Poor Lance. If he doesn't play any better than what I saw in San Fran, he's a goner with our ruthless fans.
Do people know the guy has thrown about 400 passes in his entire pro and college career?
