It's pathetic that people are cheering Murray's injury. I am disgusted. Those of you who cheered are no better than those Philadelphia fans who cheered when Irvin was injured.

This is player's livelihood. He has done us no wrong.

It helps them validate the decision to part ways.

The same could be said about Dez, Romo, OScan, RGregory or Leary but no one wants to admit it.

PHILADELPHIA -- DeMarco Murray, who has run for just 11 yards in his first two games with the Philadelphia Eagles, left practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

The severity of the injury was not known. He's expected to have an MRI on the hamstring, a league source told ESPN's Adam Caplan.

Would not be surprised to see both Matthews and Sproles injured before too long either, if that OL keeps playing like it does.

Sure, except for all of the history of RBs who got injured or fell off the cliff after having such a historically heavy workload. But other than that you are totally correct.

So why have all the Cowboys got hurt?

Murray didn't show any ill effects when leaped over a six foot human but any future injury will be attributed to his workload 10 months ago.

Everyone has gone round and round about this. When guys have a work load like his they frequently lose significant time the following year due to injury. I'm sure you already know that. Even people who wanted to re-sign him (and I'm among them) didn't want to throw tons of money at him since the odds were he would miss time this year, or his performance would degrade significantly. It happens to just about everyone with that kind of workload who aren't named Emmitt or Dickerson.

Come on dude. It's pretty documented that a RB that gets that kind of workload is going to fall off the next season. Awesome he jumped over one guy. He still looks like crap without our line. He already had a history of injuries before last seasons workload.

The injury occurred when Bailey tugged his arm and Murray pulled away, Demarco chucked the ball at him accordingly.

6-8 weeks for the Hammy!

Hitman Bailey!

I'm not cheering his injury and I appreciate everything he did for us. But He's an Eagle now. It's not a life threatening injury. It's the Eagle's problem now. With the way Murray's been playing this may be a bad thing. He's said that he's moved on. So have I. I'm more concerned with Romo and Dez right now.

Yes, everyone is terrified about a pint sized 32 year old back.

Sean Lee was really concerned about him before the game. I'm sure he'll be just as concerned next time we play them. That pint sized 32 year old RB can still hurt you. But I'll let Lee worry about him.

Murray made a short-term cash but long-term bad business decision. The Cowboys mgmt did the opposite.

They were right he was wrong. From the beginning. The hammy isn't the final proof just more evidence.

I have to agree with this. Maybe because I'm older now and understand that players are not as loyal to their teams as we fans want them to be.
If we offered Dez lower than any one else by millions he'd have left. Makes you wonder what would be said about him then.

Don't think so. He made the right business decision. Sure he could have stayed for less and maybe perform better for possibly another contract but that's a lot of IFs. Football career is fleeting especially with injuries now. You need that guarantee money now as it may not be there later. Just ask Spencer (he did ok with the franchise tag though).
