Pork ribs are better than beef ribs but brisket burnt ends are better than both. I was born in Texas and this might get me excommunicated, but KC BBQ > Texas BBQ and it's not really close.

Agree. To me that is a legitimate excuse that he was doing something charity especially given back to his hometown and kids.
It's not where it's made, it's who makes it. King Ranch beef ribs in the right cooks hands are pretty much the best around.
