Not sure what that has to do with which one is better. I know of which you speak and it ain't a lie but If you want a better rib it can be found and it is a BBQ beef rib. I get mine at Rudy's.

I was telling Trouty that most ribs in Texas are pork, I thought ya insinuated that beef ruled in Texas. Beef does rule, just not when it comes to ribs is what I am getting at........not a preference of taste per say

Back in the day of real freedom and worry free days ,I couldn't really just pitch a set of harvested corn fed pistol shot deer ribs and would BBQ them on a pit grill on the south forty, them being so lean they( like beef) cooked up quick as two beers drunk,,, and I usually hit about four before checking on them,,,
