Risen has that effect. You're not alone, friend
The combination of Jerry Jones and his puppet Garrett is horrifying to behold. No accountability, control, or discipline.
As compared to what?
Rabid sharks with freaking lasers?
A Nuclear bombardment, with follow on bioweapons attack?
How about Catastrophic grid failure with follow on mass starvation?
I think your flair for the overdramatic is showing again Roy
Let's not hit the panic button/ scuttle charges just yet, bro!
Garrett's not even got a rope around his guys yet
Dez should have went with the BBQ gave him diarrhea.
My point? This organization in recent memory has already followed a 13-3 season with high hopes going forward with a craptastic, distraction filled bust of a season.I am traumatized and dread that happening again. Excuse me for caring so damn much that I let this happen. That was my point.
LoL,,,I've actually used the
" explosive diarrhea " calling/ditching work for the day
It was off. You went on a tangent that made no sense given the thread topic and the sarcastic nature of the post you replied to. Maybe make a thread and state your opinion? Or not, whatevs, brother.
It's okay. Relax. Was just asking, there, mon frere.
This team is allergic to success. Just even a little taste of it completely derails the culture. Does JG not know how to show them the proper motivation?
I think the issue with Dez was not the lateness due to illness but simply not choosing to notify the team leadership that he would be late. Wasn't that a key point in the story or did I misread it?
Some of you guys that I admire and respect are conditioned like one of Pavlov's dogs,,, news flash!
The Good timing former pilot that had been flying the plane is up in the booth,,, we got Capt.Dak and the attackerteers fixing to mobilize for Iwo Jima.
Hell yeah, Melon. Preach, my brother!!
That's if you're choosing to believe Rapaport, et al, instead of waiting for the story to emerge, if it even does, as minute an issue as this is. With all due respect, Robbie.
It's because the team is full of #RKGs
Sorry. Hadn't seen ESPN link. I was talking about this article. Dez seems to admit he was negligent in notifying the team in a timely manner. Is that how you read it?
Watchu talkin bout Willis??!
I do. But I love Dez and want to believe he's just taking the high road to satiate the media, more than he is the Org.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Dez is just 'misunderstood '
People who 'know him' (like you obviously do) can explain it to the rest of us
Oh shoot. I love me some Dez, too - you know that bro! That's not really the issue for me. In fact I hold him to a higher standard now as a team leader, which I consider him to be. If indeed the situation was that he hosted a big public event and didn't show up the next day to a team mandatory conditioning test and was derelict in contacting management in a timely manner then (in my book) he failed as one of the team's leaders. Which compounds the narrative he has had following him for years about being late and even blowing off meetings.
I certainly hope this is merely a question about media spin and drumming up cheap clicks on the back of Cowboy popularity but Dez needs to be seen by our new group of youngsters as a leader with high standards and not some immature man child. He needs to be what Jerry Rice was to the Niners. Hardest worker and most committed player on the team. Not some dude that is cavalier about team commitments. I hope the optics of this event is indeed overblown media BS...however, Dez's past behavior around meetings makes him a target and that's on him.
You too Trouty
