What was it that Parcells often said? "Put away the anointing oil". With that being said, I'm cautiously optimistic.

Have to agree. That was a desperate move that might work. Two games in so far so good but turning over rocks to find any one isn't GM brilliance.

Jerry get this one right so far (2 games in) But its not like this was a shrewed genius GM move…this was a desperate stab in the dark GM move. He "might have" got this one right…but its not like his % is great on these things…he is still Jerry the Joke of a GM. but turning over rocks to find any one isn't GM brilliance.[/quote]

this simply isn't true that's what hard woork gets you.
it's a shame you can't just say .good job jones',but your hate allows Jerry to crawl in your mind and make a home.
good luck with that

Can't do it, I think he's an empty shell, a fraud and a liar so I'll never know enough to say he deserves credit for anything specific. He's lost my trust and I believe the more involved he is with the team operations the more it hurts the chances of winning. I don't expect you or anyone else to agree, its a tired subject, so I won't go any further.

It is clear to me that Deon was a jerri move and I give him credit for that because I do think it was an integral piece in getting that 3rd super bowl, so there's that......

That then is a personal issue, I have no issue calling anyone out if they screw up I also do not have an issue to give credit for things that are done that help the team.

I cannot stand Jerry but this was a good signing. The interception he had yesterday was as good as they come.

And besides he's a Bama guy. He's got that going for him. Roll Tide! :)

Haha. I'm a vegetarian! So no..

There is a way around that...a purely vegetarian burger can be constructed, that can be grilled and sauce added to. Even watermelon, pineapple, and cantelope can be grilled. It still imparts a smoke flavoring even if for a short time....and enjoy!

On the pinto beans, use onions and chives more...and cheese is an easy add.

I have to tell you I have yet to find a good veggie burger...they all taste awful.

Grilled fruit works though.

I guess Deion is still loved in SF. I noticed during last nights game many Deion SF jerseys,

Black beans can make up the main ingredient, and then with the onions and onion soup mix, with:

  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 1 can black beans, well drained
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • oil for frying
Sautee the onions till soft, about 3-5 minutes.

In a large bowl, mash the beans until almost smooth. Add sauteed onions and the rest of the ingredients, except the oil, adding the flour a few tablespoons at a time to combine well. Mixture will be thick.

Adding a little butter to the flour, with make it a little moister.

Form bean mixture into patties, approximately ½ inch thick and fry patties in a small amount of oil until slightly firm. Make veggie burgers and then give them a short grill life with a good tasting barbeque sauce...then enjoy!
