I swear, every Sunday is a referendum on a season.

He's played 1/8 of the schedule. He's played well. I would hesitate toward claiming a victory for Jerry Jones on this signing based on two games.

I remember people wanting to put Julius Jones on a pedestal after a good eight game stretch in 2004. Then, the truth about the player was revealed. Let's let this one play out before any credit is doled out.

I wish we would all take this stance at every angle. Not the case though. Had McClain come out an fall on his face, not only would he get bashed, Jerry would get taken to his daily woodshed as well.

lol, it was just a joke. It means Not That There's Anything Wrong With That.

Haha. I have nothing against carnivores...I eat that way mainly for weight/health purposes. I have to maintain a certain weight to stay employed!

Now I'm going to steal that abbreviation but not tell the person what it means. :p

It used to be around the Internet quite a bit when a man's man card had been challenged.

Like if a guy said, "I like the color pink."

Someone would come along and write: NTTAWWT

Typically they were joking about a guys sexual orientation. So when you wrote that you're a vegitarian... well, you get it.

And I really was joking. I have eaten as a vegetarian for a couple of periods in my life.

And give the GM/scouting team credit on this O-line. It's a moster of an O-line and they're incredibly young. Obviously they had to sink significant resources into it, but for years and years we couldn't put together a line through the draft at all.

Just heard McClain on the radio saying jerri called him and convinced him to come to Dallas. That's a great use of jerri's clout and to that I'll say well done. Additionally, I'm pleased that it was a low risk move if it doesn't work out.

I'll gladly give credit where its due, I just don't have any faith and trust that good moves originate from the mind of jerri, if anyone feels otherwise, fine and dandy, my animosity is solely with jerri and none of my fellow Cowboy fans. so don't get it twisted

An example of a scenario that undermines my faith in jerri is just when I think he might deserve some credit for seeing the light is the selection of Zack Martin, a pick I love even if it doesn't work out because it shows a commitment to the trenches and a resistance to shiny things like Manziel that imo couldn't possibly be a help this year. Then I hear our gm is pissed off he was forced to take Martin. I bet someone made a post somewhere saying "great pick by jerri" but how can I possibly give him credit for this selection when he made it clear its not the one he wanted to make? I give him mega kudos for listening to his staff and hope this continues because imo the further he is away from football decisions, the better off the team will be.
