Running the ball well alone has never won anyone anything.

They've lost a lot of talent there and their additions at running back don't really help them compared to last year.

I didn't even read the article because I don't need to.

This is a quarterback league nowadays. And the Eagles don't have one. The end.

If you have 4..... You have none.

Ok, ok... Eagles are the best .... Blah blah blah lol

So, a QB that is coming off injury and hasn't played in a year? And is with new team, coach, players personnel is going to lead she girls past cowboys.

No one would take that bet.. Not even eagirls fans.

I stopped reading when I saw the words "Sam Bradford" and "superb" used in the same sentence. Give me a freaking break.

Ridiculous. All these ESPN football analysts love Chip Kelly cause he's fascinating and like a mad scientist. I think he loves himself and wants to be more important than his team. His offseason moves were terrible. Good luck with Bradford as your QB. Look at their receivers. Do any of them really scare you? The one good player he added was Murray. But he's running behind their line. Let's see how good he does. The Cowboys are improved without Murray. The defense is better and The best O-Line in Football got better and I think a couple of those undrafted receivers have improved that position too. The Giants are the team that the Cowboys are going to have to beat to win the division. The Eagles will be lucky to win 8 games

So Murray and Bradford is better than Romo and Randle/McFadden? Sure, ok.

I'll take "scrub" RBs over a scrub QB anyday. I'll also take Vegas over anything from ESPN as well.

Eagles will more likely be in last place than 1st place. The only NFC East team that scares me is the Giants. Depends on how much the Giants have improved their defense, but offensively the Giants could be the best team in the conference even over the Cowboys.

Yeah, I think the Giants will be better than Philly.

What planet or universe is ESPN operating in?

What bad 'shine they be drinking?

Despite the fact that the Cowboys' defense is a question mark, the Eagles O and D are both question marks and their coach will turn out to be a complete idiot better suited to coaching collige teams.

too bad ESPN is not operating a gambling site. I could be rich. Rich i tell you, if I bet on the Cowboys and not ESPN's fave team, the Egirls.

Didn;t you read the article? The Eagles secondary is now awesome because they overpaid for the 4th best DB on the Seahawks and drafted a CB in the 2nd round.

But ... but ... we drafted one of the best pass rushers in the draft and a CB in the 1st round. I'll take a monster pass rusher and a 1st round corner over the 4th best corner on the Seahawks and a 2nd round corner any day. :)

I find it fascinating that so many sports analysts go on and on about Chip Kelly when talking about the NFCE and never mention Tom Coughlin.

So Bradford will be healed, but not even a mention for Sean Lee?

To ESPN: I want to thank you for this analysis and publication. Please keep them coming fast and furious throughout the rest of the season. Your prediction analysis is amazingly spot on so everyone should definitely go to Vegas and buy into this logic with lifetime savings at stake.
Please keep this message on the airwaves, internet and perhaps a rent a few billboards around valley ranch with your amazing insightfulness.
I just want to see how our Offensive Line and our Defense reacts to this.

Bradford can't walk, Giants 1st rounder won't be able to fix their O-Line alone, Commanders need a QB worse than Philly does.

So where does Dallas fall short of the rest? The RB position? lol ok.

What do mean no QB...they got Mark Sanchez...... :muttley:

They went 10-6 with Mark Sanchez, Hard to know what Philly will do this season but given what I consider a less than great QB they still managed to be very competitive and as I noted at the beginning were 10-6

They went 10-6 with McCoy, Maclin, Trent Cole and they went 5-4 with Sanchez as a starter losing 3 of their last 4.

I'm just saying that I'm not writing philly off. Right now I think Dallas, NY and Philly will battle it out for the NFC East I don't see this as a cake walk.

They still have some good players, sack leader Connor Barwin who had 14.5 sacks last season and Vinnie Curry with 9 sacks

Lol...The egirls have almost the same schedule and will be playing virtually against most of the same receivers, this will hurt us, but not them...Yeah, ok.

I actually agree. Sam is better than what they had when he is healthy. I was actually hoping they traded him on a rookie QB. They took a step back at WR for sure but improved overall at RB. I cant stand Chip Kelly but he will generate points. He has proven that much. They also improved on Defense and their O-line isn't bad.

I still think Dallas is the better team ... a lot better team. I think Dallas improved on D but we did take a step back at RB. What scares me is we finally turned the corner behind a strong running game. Now who knows what we will do on the run game. I have a feeling we will be drafting a RB in the 1st rd next year.

I think Eagles are still the toughest competition in our division.

My prediction :

1. Cowboys
2.Eagles
3. Giants
4. Commanders

Bradford has never been a top 20 QB in the league

No, but if he can stay healthy he might have success in Philly they have a good team that was able to win some games with Mark Sanchez at QB. There have been QB's who've change teams and have had success like Rich Gannon and Trent Green. Jim Plunkett and Doug Williams changed teams and ended up winning SB's. Not saying Bradford will have success but I wouldn't rule it out. He was a #1 overall pick and his situation in St Louis hurt his statistical production. Besides all the injuries Bradford had Steven Jackson couldn't stay healthy missing a lot of games himself and the Rams never had a consistent running game. Bradford never received very good pass protection and with his receivers struggling to get open this played a big part in his injuries. He has a much better supporting cast in Philly so I wouldn't blow him off.
