I'm just saying that I'm not writing philly off. Right now I think Dallas, NY and Philly will battle it out for the NFC East I don't see this as a cake walk.

They still have some good players, sack leader Connor Barwin who had 14.5 sacks last season and Vinnie Curry with 9 sacks

Well I'm just saying they didn't go 10-6 with Sanchez and lost some firepower on offense. The Eagles still have a lot of work to do.

I actually agree. Sam is better than what they had when he is healthy. I was actually hoping they traded him on a rookie QB. They took a step back at WR for sure but improved overall at RB. I cant stand Chip Kelly but he will generate points. He has proven that much. They also improved on Defense and their O-line isn't bad.

I still think Dallas is the better team ... a lot better team. I think Dallas improved on D but we did take a step back at RB. What scares me is we finally turned the corner behind a strong running game. Now who knows what we will do on the run game. I have a feeling we will be drafting a RB in the 1st rd next year.

I think Eagles are still the toughest competition in our division.

My prediction :

1. Cowboys
2.Eagles
3. Giants
4. Commanders

I agree however I do give a slight edge to NY mainly because of the return of Cruz along with Beckham

Murray in Philly could change a lot of things. Having him and Mathews providing a one-two punch at RB is going to benefit Bradford. Philly won't wear Murray down with almost 400 carries so he may not gain near the yards he had last season with the Cowboys but he'll have some fresher legs which will pay dividends late in games. If Philly ends up with a better running game than the Cowboys that will give them a big advantage. It was close between both teams last season despite Murrays great season with the Cowboys and Philly having to play half the season with Mark Sanchez.

Had the Cowboys lost Romo for half the season last year they may have ended up 6-10 so losing Murray and Philly adding him to their arsenal along with Bradford who's a much more talented QB than the 2 QB's they had the Cowboys are going to have their hands full. If Jerry and the team has miscalculated at RB and the defense doesn't improve or has to spend more time on the field than last season Philly is going to be much harder to beat than they were last season and they weren't easy.

Well I'm glad I read this.. Now I can focus on other stuff during the football season..

What a joke any of these articles are,. Whether they pick for or against Dallas it don't mean squat unless someone has finally developed time travel and has traveled back in time to tell us this ..congrats Eagles!!!! You are the best team in the NFC east again .. Now how heavy Lies the crown champs

On second thought, ESPN writing that the Eagles will be better than the Cowboys will be another great motivator.

To say that the Seahawks, Packers, Patriots are better is one thing, but the Eagles half to justify what ESPN is saying. And the Eagles won't, trust me on this.

Right this moment Philly has the edge. The Cowboys lost their MVP from last season and now Philly has him. Nothing can switch the balance of power like taking away your rivals best player from the previous season and adding them to your team. Surprised how many here have been playing that down. Philly added another solid back in Mathews to go along with Murray so while they improved their RB situation by adding 2 quality backs the Cowboys downgraded at the position. Granted Philly no longer has McCoy but I feel having 2 quality backs is going to benefit their offense more. Murray runs more downhill than McCoy and can be punishing. You then add Mathews to the mix who's had a couple of 1000 yard seasons and is only 2 years removed from a 1200 yard plus season and that gives Philly some real punch in the backfield.

Murray is going to be highly motivated facing the Cowboys out to prove it wasn't just their OL that made him the runner he was and we saw last season how well he can run when he's motivated. The Cowboys are not only going to have to improve their pass rush but they better be solid against the run because Murray and Mathews will test them. The Cowboys upgraded their DE position with Hardy but unless he wins his appeal they'll only have him for 6 games. Gregory has potential but he's rookie only time will tell with him. The Cowboys will be banking on their OL to make 3 average backs productive so barring a trade they're not going to come up with anything better than what they have.

No and I should have thought harder about posting that. But what I said is true.

Of course it's true. But, just like some other posters...if you look close at his first sentence in the first paragraph and the first sentence of his second paragraph...all he is basing his opinion on is that the Cowboys lost the great Murray.

Bradford has never been a top 20 QB in the league

Saying that Bradley is going to come in and light it on fire is a stretch. But if he can remain healthy, I see no reason why he wouldnt have his best season with them. He will have a very good run game to take off the pressure and Kelly has a way of getting the best out of his QB's. Bradford also played in an up tempo style offense in college. Once the reasons why Kelly traded for him.

We had them covered at the end of last year and nothing has changed that in the last 5 months.

A lot has changed in the last 5 months Philly upgraded their QB position over Sanchez by a mile and they've added the Cowboys MVP from last season and another quality back. Philly has made some curious moves but does anyone here think that a healthy Sam Bradford isn't a big upgrade over Mark Sanchez who they were stuck with for half the season? Even Sanchez was able to have some good games in that offense but he had 6 turnovers in Philly's final 5 games. For Philly to hang in with Sanchez for half the season says a lot for their team. I like what the Cowboys did in the draft but losing Murray and replacing him with McFadden who's done little to nothing in 5 years could end up costing the Cowboys.

Lol...The egirls have almost the same schedule and will be playing virtually against most of the same receivers, this will hurt us, but not them...Yeah, ok.

That lack of logic was the part that stood out to me as well. This is after he described just how porous their pass defense was. And not just with counting stats, but with avgs.

What some attribute to bias I believe stems from laziness.
