A lot has changed in the last 5 months Philly upgraded their QB position over Sanchez by a mile and they've added the Cowboys MVP from last season and another quality back. Philly has made some curious moves but does anyone here think that a healthy Sam Bradford isn't a big upgrade over Mark Sanchez who they were stuck with for half the season? Even Sanchez was able to have some good games in that offense but he had 6 turnovers in Philly's final 5 games. For Philly to hang in with Sanchez for half the season says a lot for their team. I like what the Cowboys did in the draft but losing Murray and replacing him with McFadden who's done little to nothing in 5 years could end up costing the Cowboys.

Is anyone here surprised to see you bending over backwards to compliment the Eagles?

We had them covered at the end of last year and nothing has changed that in the last 5 months.

Dallas had 2 tough games vs Philly we beat them and they beat us 33 to 10 in Dallas. I think Dallas is better but Cowboys can't take Philly or anyone lightly. They are still a capable team and while people can down play Murray all they want he is a tough running back and should be a big help to them in redzone.

I watched the Cowboys team with a 13-3 record only to get full of themselves the following year and fell flat on their face

I hate Philly more than any team out there but I will say dismissing them acting as if this is a cake walk sounds a lot like Philly fans when they claimed to have the all time great team and ended up looking like idiots. Dallas had a very good season last year after 3 years of 8-8. What changed? For the 1st time Dallas actually ran the ball more than they threw it and we went 12-4, now all of a sudden that RB is no longer here and for anyone to act as if well it is no big deal does not get it. It is a big deal taking a proven player from the lineup and putting 2 bust and 2 Jags back there and acting as if they are great. We don't know what any of these guys can do over the course of a season.

I think we can take Philly but they are not going to lay down for Dallas or anyone. They still have some good talent on that team and should not be taken lightly

But, are we supposed to know what Murray is going to do over the course of this season with the eagles just because he had one good season behind what is being touted as one of the best oline in the league?

If we had gotten Randle in the draft this year, and Dunbar after it... no one would be calling them JAGs.

He had more than 1 good season, when given the chance even behind guys like Costa, and company he still ran well. He is not some JAG, RB. People say he will not have a season like he did last year, you know what chances are that is true but fact is not many backs in the history have had season like that. 16 men who have played in this game have posted a better season and most never have reached that number. Emmitt a HOF player never had a season of 1,800 yards rushing and that too was behind a great OL. Murray only carried when his number was called but as a player he does not have a say in when he will get his touches, he does not call the plays.

I like both guys but Dunbar is a 1 trick pony, he is a change of pace RB. Randle is a decent RB I liked him a lot coming out of OSU. I saw him quite a bit I also saw Murray at OU I had no doubt Murray was and is a much better RB than Randle.

I get it, bro....if not for Murray and Murray alone, the Cowboys would have had another 8-8.

No Murray helped big time by taking the heavy load and producing. Keeping Dallas in a situation where we could maintain balance. Yes he was a big reason for 12-4 just as much of a reason as Romo and Dez. He carried over 40 % of the entire offense and now people want to act as if he was just there? Give me a break.

He is a big loss, this does not mean Dallas can't over come it but it is not going to be easy

The thing is A) RB is far less important that QB and B ) Randle is a far better RB than Bradford and buttfumble are QBs. He might not be the best this year (though I do think we will have more rushing yards than the Eagles due to our line and the fact that Murray won't be near as productive this year) but our offense will be better than the Eagles offense, and our defense will be better than the Eagles defense (yes I said it... DLaw having another year and Hardy/Gregory being on the team will mean that much) if you have the better offense and the better defense... chances are you will do better.

Ok...well, I'm just going back to giving credit where credit is due...the oline. Without them Murray would have been his regular self, not bad and not good and certainly not the savior that every praised him out to be.

Carry on...

Dude, we lost Murray! How on earth do you think the Cowboys can compete now?

Seems pretty crazy to swap out a teams starting QB,RB & top receiver and expect them to win a division. And Shady seemed to get a lot worse in player rankings once Philly traded him, Murray's abilities got more praise once he donned the wings

Chip has some crazy equity, anybody else making drastic changes like that would be labelled in panic mode.

How on earth do you think the Eagles can compete with a guy who has been in a bodycast his whole career (and hasn't been that good when he could actually play) and a guy who has had 1 season where he had more TDs than turnovers at QB?

We still have the best o-line in football that is really good at making huge holes, and we still have THE BEST QB IN FOOTBALL (yes I said it, he was #1 last year in QB rating, YPA, and completion %, first guy ever to lead in all 3 of those categories and not win MVP), one of the best WRs in football, and d-line that will have 40+ sacks (yes once again... I said it) and a far improved back 7. Yes we lost Murray and got worse at RB, but we improved at every other position group except for maybe WR (though even there Beasley this year >>> Beasley 3/4 of last year). That is how we will compete.

Is anyone here surprised to see you taking exception to an honest, objective opinion?

I'm not seeing one. Can you point me in the right direction? What I'm seeing is someone engaged in Olympic level mental gymnastics to wipe away any potential flaws for the Eagles while failing to afford any similar treatment to the team you're supposedly a fan of. You know, like you always do. Have a tums, you've got a severe case of keyboard diarrhea.

Sam has thrown the ball 500 times in his career...Tony has thrown it 5 gazillion times. Sam's stats are hollow and what some would call unproven. I'll live and die with Tony.

Sam's stats suck... bottom 5 QB since coming into the league.
