Campbell is going to be making alot of mistakes, and unlike ROmo, I haven't heard an NFL scout rave, or any of your coaches for that matter, about Campbell

I'll give you that Brunell's time in this league is about done as a starter, and it's time to get the kid some playing time cuz your season is done, but he's not going to be an improvement this soon

I know that our team's problems all dont rest with brunell. Our defense this year has been greatly dissapointing, and with too many reasons to list. With that said, Im tired of Brunell's decisions to always check down and never go deep. I think Ladell betts is our leading receiver, for gods sake!! With Brunell we know what we have. You guys hated Bledsoe's costly mistakes, well we hate Brunell's dumpoffs and how he gets scared at the moment of a little pressure, OH and especially his 20 step drop backs. man!:bang2:

Well Campbell has yet to start..but I agree, I think he will struggle his first few years. As BP has said about Romo...he doesn't see him as a rookie, just an inexperienced Vet. Romo has been in this league, played pre-season and practiced at NFL speed for 4 years. In comparison, Campbell has not even been here for 2 seasons yet.

The switch was nessecary because Brunell wasn't taking Washington anywhere in the future. And since the team seems done at this point, especialyl without Portis, Brunell wasn't winning this year either.

This is a good move for the Skins. AT some point you have too see what you have in campbell and you never know it could spark the offense. The NFC east is still up for grabs alot of football left to play.

It'll never happen though man. I know football and I can usually win a debate or argument pretty convincingly. Against an idiot it isn't even a challenge. But I don't go on ES to battle the idiots because I will never win. Intelligent posters may realize I am winning and chime in but the odds are they won't aid me. All it does is drag that place down.

Like I said, it never works.

no, he didnt look all that good. But thats to be expected of a guy learning a new offense and has been in the league for 1 year.

Romo on the other hand has been in the league for 3 years, and has been under the same offense the entire time.

A little bit different circumstances.

The skins fans know that campbell might not pan out, but it is still uncharted waters. Anytime you venture into something you don't know, it brings excitement. Campbell can either be a complete bust, or be a perenial pro-bowler. Until he gets onto the field, no one will know(except for maybe HH, who seems to be a wanna be Miss Cleo )

But like you said, skins fans realize how bad he looked in preseason playing against the 3rd team scrubs and the fact that he is in the 1st year of a complicated offense and that he may not pan out.
