I would have figured you a Penn St. fan with all that Philly love.Timbo2st;1161519 said:The Commanders fans reactions make me laugh.

Luck? Meaning what? He'll luckily play well for the rest of the season? We're not the Steelers over here going for a SB run.SultanOfSix;1161359 said:Campbell may succeed, but it will be out of sheer luck. All signs point to the fact that it's way too early. Everyone points to Brunell as the problem on that team. I'm sorry, but that team has got a lot more problems than just Brunell, who has actually played decently this year.
Umm, yea, I saw him play plenty at Auburn. He looked 10 times better winning football games, then Ramsey throwing 40 times a game for a terrible Tulane team.HeavyHitta31;1161177 said:Patrick Ramsey is a better QB than Campbell ever will be. If you never saw him play at Auburn you really can't fathom how epic of a bust he will be. The guy was a fringe first day talent.

If you had to watch Brunell play every week you'd be excited too.Timbo2st;1161519 said:The Commanders fans reactions make me laugh.

With all due respect, I think you're still going to be depressed for the rest of the year. I live here in DC--& you really have to question Gibbs' drafting ability. I seriously question whether this kid is the answer. I've been here (laughing) thru Shuler, Ramsey, etc etc. It'll also be interesting to see if Saunders decides to ramp down his offense. Mr. "I've got a 9,872 page playbook & never repeat the same play in less than 3 games" is going to have to actually tailor the offense for the players he has--including a kid in his 2nd year.skinsngibbs4life;1161514 said:hell, people were really depressed today also, right up untill this news :laugh2:
In other words you pulled it out of thin air and spouted it as fact and can't back it up.kartr;1161437 said:If a qb can get you to the playoffs, it doesn't matter. I don't care what you're buying. You didn't here it because you are not as thorough as I am.
Some people had actually projected Charlie Frye in the first round ahead of Campbell, I don't know why, but at the Senior Bowl, everyone clearly said that Campbell was the best qb out there. It was in the summaries of the Senior Bowl. I don't have a copy with me, but If you really wanted find out, look it up for yourself.
Will Al Saunders or Gregg Williams be Washington's headcoach next season? I can't forsee the Crypt Keeper returning for another dose of heartache. Back to Nascar.HeavyHitta31;1161539 said:Washington's vaunted defense is pitiful and only getting older
Their million dollar coaches are all garbage
They have traded away most of their draft picks next year
They have 9 players taking up over 60 million in cap room next year
They have a future bust as their "franchise" QB
The future looks bright in our nation's capitol
Uh, Carr and Harrington are not backups. Carr starts for the Texans, and Harrington for the Dolphins.kartr;1161465 said:Yes, the two top 5 picks are now backups and couldn't even do what a drugged out reach of a qb could do, get his team to the playoffs. They must be so proud. You have a skewed sense of value when you think the only qb to get us to the playoffs in the last ten years was one of the worst players to ever play for the Cowboys. Romo's success only heightens how far that Bledsoe has fallen. With that qb you hate so much winning multiple games in a row, we are still trying to figure out how to win 2 games in a row. When Q left the team, apparently, Bills genius went with it. We are struggling to win even when the NFC is a joke. Hope you're happy now.

actually, it's 11 players(which still isn't good). But like always, you have to change facts around to make yourself look betterThey have 9 players taking up over 60 million in cap room next year
Once again, you NEVER use any facts for you arguments. Just a little hint, opinions don't make for a good argument. And when you are trying to prove that our future QB is going to be a bust, your going to need a little bit more than just your opinion. They have a future bust as their "franchise" QB
