You must not read the threads over at ES. According to quite a few homers over there, they expect JC to have a breakout performance. :lmao2:

and resurrect the season by starting off 3-0. and possibly win out to get into the playoffs. :lmao2: :lmao2: :lmao2:

But like you said, skins fans realize how bad he looked in preseason playing against the 3rd team scrubs and the fact that he is in the 1st year of a complicated offense and that he may not pan out.

and im sure that there were people over here that thought the same when romo was named the starter.

The fact is, every fan base has some the eternal optimists. Its the way it is. Some people want to stay positive no matter what the situation is. Theres nothing wrong with that, thats just the way they think.

Commanders fans were dying for a change for almost the whole year now. You can't blame them for being a little excited that we finally get a chance to take a peak at out future(whether it turns out good or not)

The funny part is, you're so blind with denial that you don't see stats and awards for college QBs mean nothing once they hit the NFL.

where did i ever said anything about it meaning something in the NFL? I never said that just because he was the SEC champ he has to be good.

The only reason I brought that up is because you said that campbell wasn't impressive in college. If he won player of the year in one of the best conferences in college football, he had to do something good.

But Romo DID do that

It's not the optimism that gets annoying, it's the fact that yesterday you had to buy a ticket and wait in line to drown yourself in the Delaware, and now the Commanders are a franchise on the rise with playoff aspirations.

I don't

it doesnt mean their idiots. Its their opinions and their views. That doesn't neccesarily make them an idiot.

I didnt say he wasnt impressive, you don't start on an SEC football team without havign skill. I said he was made to look much better than he was because defenses loaded the box to stop the run and he had single coverage his whole career.

if the view/opinion is idiotic, in that instant

they are idiots

Often times, the idiocy is chronic

I feel sorry our resident skin fans, they have to wallow in it once they leave this safe-haven of knowledge

but whose to say that the view or belief is idiotic?

Anyone who claims Adam Archuleta is better than Roy Williams, ala Bubba, Art, Old School, and others, is a football idiot. Plain and simple.

hey skinsngibbs4life and all other skin fans, i know how much you guys have wanted this change, and its about time. i hope JC develops into a great QB for you guys, good luck down the stretch, im sure we will need you guys to play some spoiler for us. :starspin :starspin

thats a good move for them, no way they were making the playoffs anyways. gotta see if he's the answer, if not they'll have a high draft pick to use

I liked Campbell in college...

I didn't feel he was a first rounder, but that doesn't mean he won't be a good player...

He might as well get in now, because if Saunders is gonna stay around, Campbell needs to start learning that giant playbook...
Should"nt he learn the Commander playbook instead?:lmao: :lmao:

Coach Gibbs says he wants to get more production....wouldn't this be the other way as Jason is about as smart as a box of rocks?

I just hope that they are competitive so they can still take out other NFC teams for us.
