It ain't just Brees either, they have better personnel overall.

We'd easily get two more games out of Payton. It took six years and Callahan to figure out the middle is a place to attack, though still limited. Brees throws up the seams regualrly in Payton's offense.

for God's sakes, u just lost 3 straight "win and your in" games to bitter NFC east rivals, is it too much to leave the generalities at the door and give us something of substance for once. The fans deserve more than this robotic BS today Garrett.

He doesn't have anything of substance. He really doesn't.

He's a paint by numbers coach. Sure, can make out a practice schedule, install his offense, give press conferences, etc... All the routine things of being a coach. But that's all he knows. When it doesn't work, he doesn't know what to do other than more of the same. That's why he has nothing to offer as far as making any kinds of adjustments and nothing more in-depth than his bullet pointed list of cliches.

It's really time to put to rest this idea that he's so smart simply because he went to Princeton. As a coach and leader, he isn't smart. He's really quite empty.

Also, who else noticed the way he completely refused to answer any questions about scheme, players, or possible coaching changes for a few more days? I'm not talking about specifics, but his general thoughts on things. It's so clear that was because Jerry hasn't told him what they're doing yet.

We're in full late stage Al Davis mode, folks. Ugly times.

All Fisher says is that it is "shaky".

And Garrett did clearly say Callahan was calling all the plays, a clear lie, that's where there may be a move.

Pointless, since the new OC will be a puppet of a puppet, but there you go.

So, are you telling me that Garrett bought two buses to throw Romo and Callahan under them?

I do not want to hear anything coming from his mouth anymore until next season! It is probably the same monotone talk that he usually does.

"Romo changed the play...not me"

"Callahan was calling the plays...not me"

Then...just what the hell do you do, Garrett?

man I wish we had kept sean payton. Now he knows how to call an offense. His offenses are creative. COME BACK SEAN lmao

keep dreaming. He has full control here to run the team the way he wants. Nobody breathing down his neck, looking over his shoulder; putting his hand up Sean's shirt and treating him like a puppet.

Wow...such wide-spread vitriol...true poison...I'm not sure it was this negative for Campo, Wade, or Parcels, who were all failures.

You really don't think they make a move at DC? I'd be shocked if Kiffin is retained. I felt Garrett avoided endorsing Kiffin, and went directly to the subject of defense when asked what the team needs to get better at.

Technically he was demoted. he couldn't handle all these other tasks, because spitting while adjusting your head set takes a lot of concentration.

pretty sure he stood in front of a mirror and practiced that.

He's totally incompetent. He probably got into Princeton because of connections. he's one of those guys tha is probably active in HS in community service and does things by the books, but nothing special intelligence wise. The guy went to Princeton and major-ed in history, meanig memorization. He played for his father.

Funny how the talk about continuity as the means to get bettr, while blaming the defense and changing coaches every year along with the schemes. Last year, it was too comlicated and didn't create TOs. I guess a dmb guy like Bruce Carter couldn't get it, yet was light years better in Ryan's 'complex' schemes.

The scherade is over...

I disagreed with the move to fire Rob Ryan, was shocked when that news broke a year ago. Now I'd be shocked if Kiffin is NOT fired. We got embarrassed on D too many times this year. Sure injuries are a part of it, but it went beyond that.

That too, but Payton wanted to take Romo with him to NO and Payton knows his QBs. Romo is actually in Dallas beause of Payton. Jerry put a stop to that move. It would be phenomenal with Romo...

Yep.

Payton coached at the same school in Illinois as Romo and scouted him there. He then got Parcells to get him in here as a UDFA. Romo would not have ben here if it were not for Payton and Parcells. Without having Parcells here, we would have still been in QB hell with Jerry's GM skills.

Without Parcells we probably still wouldn't have made a playoff game.

That's one mans opinion....mine is that without Parcels thinking he was so smart at drafting, we would have taken Steven Jackson at RB instead of Julius Jones, and we certainly couldn't have drafted worse on the OL....Parcels missed on every OL pick he ever made. He went to a playoff game with the team he inherited and went down hill from there. Parcells deserves the HOF, but his work with the. Cowboys didn't help his legacy one bit.
