Jason Pierre-Paul: Unsure of future

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Jason Pierre-Paul doesn't know what will happen after Sunday's regular-season finale.
Could it be his last game as a Giant? JPP wants to remain a Giant for life and get paid like an elite pass-rusher. But the defensive end knows anything could happen once he's eligible for free agency this offseason.

One thing Pierre-Paul does seem certain of is his worth on the market.
"I think I am worth a lot of money," Pierre-Paul said when asked what he thinks he's worth. "What do you think?"
The Giants and their 2010 first-round pick will find out in time. Pierre-Paul, who turns 26 on New Year's Day, has 10.5 sacks going into Sunday's finale against the Eagles. That's his most since his breakout season in 2011, when he collected 16.5 sacks.
"I don't know what my future holds," Pierre-Paul said. "Who knows if I am going to be in a Giant uniform, who knows where I am going to be in the offseason. Like I said, now, the numbers are there, I had a great season, and everybody sees it. There really is nothing else to say, just negotiations and it is coming."
Pierre-Paul would like to remain a Giant but he also has seen several good friends and teammates who said the same thing end up elsewhere.
"I'd love to be a Giant for the rest of my career," Pierre-Paul said. "But at the end of the day, it doesn't always fold like that. Look at [Justin] Tuck, look at Osi [Umenyiora], look at Brandon Jacobs. It doesn't matter."
Pierre-Paul says he will make the best business decision possible.
"It's business," he said. "Everyone knows that, even the fans know that, my family members know it, and I am going to make the best decision to better me and my family.
"I'm hitting 26 at the beginning of the year," he added. "I am entering my prime, there is much more football to be played, and at a very high intensity for me."
