Ok lets see...only one player or one draft...hmmm....
Let's see...he's had his hand in the drafting of Jason Witten, D-Ware, Marion Barber, Jay Ratliff, Newman, Felix Jones, Mike Jenkins, Scandrick, and then he's brought in quality FA additions like Bigg, TO, and Colombo.
And that's just in the last few years.
Let's go back to that huge deal that everyone credits ONLY Jimmy for in the Minny trade.
For those of us who own the Americas Game DVD set there is this really nice little extra on there about that Minny trade and it's Jimmy Johnson talking about the deal.
The truth of that deal is that Jimmy actually had a deal with Cleveland worked out, to send Walker there, and he went to Jerry and told him what he had and said he told Jerry to see if he could top it anywhere.
Jerry made the call to Minny and got that ball rolling on the deal that launched the franchise back to heights.
Yet everyone continues to want to act like Jimmy did that all on his own. I guess Jerry still gets none of the credit for any of the good he's done in his career but you'll all be glad to give him all the credit of the bad when things don't work out great.
That's brilliant logic.
