460 passes is a pretty small sample size to declare Hurts as the 2nd best QB in the league. In my opinion, he is dreadfully overrated.

Dak had a better rookie season than either of Hurts last two seasons. Dak has a better playoff QB rating by far.

Hurts has three 4th quarter comebacks and four game winning drives so far in his career. Dak had more of each after his rookie season.

If Jalen is so elusive, why is his sack rate much higher than Dak's?
So you say 460 passing attempts are too small a sample size then proceed to say Dak has a better playoff QB rating by far....using Dak's 7 starting season to Hurts 2 starting seasons....so a small sample size is okay for the later?

QBs that made their top 100...

1. Mahomes
2. Hurts
3. Burrow
4. Allen
5. Herbert
6. Lawrence
7. Jackson
8. Rodgers
9. Prescott
10. Tagovailoa
11. Goff
12. Cousins

Oh and this offseason, NFL players, coaches and execs all independently voted Dak among the top 10 QBs as well.

So people who are paid to know this sport universally believe Dak's pretty good.
Dude, this is a game, not rocket science. Any idiot can see who is good and who isn't. We don't need Rhode scholars to tell us what we're seeing. That said, I think Dak should be higher on that list. I'm not even a big Dak fan.

This Lawrence love is ridiculous. Hes an up and comer no doubt, but he hasnt shown he is better than Dak. Jackson no thanks. I would love to see what Hurts would do without the best offensive supporting cast in NFL history. No way is he #2. Although I see him having another sick year stats wise.
I wish I could give 2 likes for this. The exact same three I was thinking myself. I like Herbert, but I don't think he should be crowned yet. He's a good QB, that's about it.

I wouldn't take Jackson in a straight up trade for Dak. I don't think he's a particularly good pocket passer, nor good against the blitz unless he's running from it.

A lot of the same with Hurts. He's a good runner and passing against run defenses due to their team talent and scheme, but outside of that specific scheme, I'm not convinced. I saw how bad he was passing from the pocket.

I've blocked about 30% of this forum for exhibiting the IQ of a common flea, with blood sucking tendencies. Makes life here more sensible.

I want to thank four or five more of you over the past few pages for self-identifying where else I need to tidy up a bit more. Bye!
In other words, you can't handle people having opinions that are not the same as yours, so your immediate knee-jerk reaction is to block them.

Go right ahead and block me. You still have about 68% to go to block everyone who doesn't think like you. Enjoy your little Utopia where everyone (all 2% of you) has like minded views and opinions. I hear the sky there is always filled with rainbows and the fields covered with unicorns and bunnies.

I don't know what you're watching, but Hurts last year was quite good from the pocket. Stats from last year, passing from clean pocket:

• Joe Burrow leads the way: His 93.5 clean-pocket passing grade was the best mark in the NFL last season when including the playoffs.

• Clean pockets helped Jalen Hurts rise to greatness: His 22 big-time throws from a clean pocket last year tied with Patrick Mahomes for number one.

Best clean pocket passers last year: 1. Burrow, 2. Mahomes, 3. Hurts.

That's why I draft him on my FF team. And when we do a playoff draft, I don't draft him. Dak is money during the regular season.

Two years ago I won my league with Dak. Last year I won the playoff league with Hurts.
Yup, he does put up some nice stats in the regular season.

The year prior they tried to play Hurts from the pocket. He was abysmal. He did not all of a sudden get better. They went from a pocket passing offense to an RPO heavy run game. It was very successful and they have two really good wideouts. Hurts is still a first/read run QB. From what I've seen and heard, if the first 2 reads aren't there, take off. All QBs don't have this option. He has a great supporting cast. Hurts never drops back and throws into coverage. He's throwing into heavy run defenses because the safeties are cheating up because their run game is so good. Similar to Lamar in 2019. Which is why that is still Lamar's best passing year. Stuff the RPO and force Hurts to throw into coverage and you have the current Lamar Jackson. Not so good from the pocket. Hurts is not a pocket passer like Rodgers, Mahomes, Lawrence, and the like. At some point we'll see that.

Universally? No, that's not what that tells us at all.

Just another Dak agenda thread. The fact remains he is somewhere between top 7ish and top 15ish. No number of Dak is great nor Dak sucks threads on here will change that and none will change anyone else's mind at this point so why do both sides insist on posting these threads over and over and over...

Nonsense. Dak had a bad game against the 49ers in the playoffs. It's the truth, doesn't mean he is a terrible QB. He is top 10 but anybody saying Dak can't improve and step up against the 49ers in the playoffs is just fooling themselves
Who had a good game vs. the 49ers?

I don't care. I just want to advance past the divisional round of the playoffs for once. Hopefully, we have a great season and get that 1st round bye / homefield advantage.

Not at all. It's funny when people say it. It sounds so....... junior high.
It's just a universal saying, it doesn't just applies to Dak and yall. Go listen to the song Hi Hater. Don't be a player hater
