News: ESPN: Orlovsky ranks the 14 QBs in the playoffs

This ranking was earned by how he is playing this year but Dak can absolutely change this by playing well vs Tampa. I hope KM does his part in coming up with a better game plan than what we've seen the last few weeks.

12. Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
This might look low, but Prescott enters the playoffs fresh off the worst season of his career. The ball has just consistently been in the wrong place, and he doesn't seem to be seeing the field clearly. He missed five games earlier in the season, but he still tied for the league lead in interceptions (15). Prescott has been too quick to leave the pocket, too, not putting enough faith in the protection.
But I'll say this: Prescott is nails out there. He has an unwavering mentality, and that can go a long way in the postseason. And his connection with receiver CeeDee Lamb is outstanding.
If I had to choose between Tom Brady and Jalen Hurts for a playoff game...There is just no way I could pull the trigger on choosing Hurts...

Orlovsky clearly watches film

I wonder if the pro-Dak crowd will spin this since thats their go-to (dak haters dont watch the film)?

By passer rating:
1. Purdy
2. Mahomes
3. Hurts
4. Smith
5. Burrow
6. Allen
7. Lawrence
8. Herbert
9. Cousins
10. Jones
11. Dak
12. Jackson
13. Brady
14. Thompson

QBR is about the same with Dak being 11th and some of the names changing (Jackson up, Cousins down). When you look at the stats, ranking him #12 isn't as absurd as many want it to believe. Dak had a rather mediocre year this year.

12th sounded low to me, but I want to keep an open mind and stay objective.

So I'll look around at other reviews/opinions...

Here's PFF
Josh Allen 91.6
Patrick Mahomes 91.3
Joe Burrow 90.7
Jalen Hurts 85.9
Lamar Jackson 85.2
Geno Smith 79.8
Tom Brady 79.7
Justin Herbert 78.6
Trevor Lawrence 77.4
Kirk Cousins 77.4
Brock Purdy 76.6
Daniel Jones 76.0
Prescott 72.0
Skylar Thompson 58.6

Anyone who ranks Daniel Jones ahead of Prescott is not to be taken seriously

If the ranking is based on QBs recent played Dak would be ranked near the bottom. He may have had the worst game of his career last week. He’s thrown picks in seven consecutive games. His play has been up and down all season. The only thing that’s been consistent with him is the INT’s.

Dude is everything Anti Dallas.

Daniel Jones? Geno? I know he is having a good year but damn
Geno has had a great year, but Daniel Jones needs to be in the trash with his 15 TD passes, dudes best year was his rookie season with 24 TD passes. He's putting up numbers like he's playing in the 1970s NFL

Dak doesn't see the field clearly? That's news to me...

I think Burrow may be playing the best the last 2 months
Mahomes is this year's MVP though
