I wouldn’t bet on that. Even if the Cowboys won a Super Bowl with him, the haters will say they won in spite of him. They’ll try and lump him in with Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson. There’s a lot of fans that never liked Dak from day one even when we were having success with him his rookie year. They’re never going to back down and admit they were wrong about it.

The fans who would have rather lost with Romo than won a championship with another QB are the ones that got the Dak hate started. The Cowboys were in the middle of an 11 game winning streak and they wanted to go back to where we had already been with Romo. Once Romo got released it just added more fuel to the Dak hate. The fans lack of support for him has probably had a pretty negative affect on him. There may be a part of him that would rather just go somewhere else where he might be more appreciated. At least go somewhere where fans will pull for him to succeed, not fail. A lot of fans here want him to fail so the team will move on from him.
