It's about to get insane next year. Dak is gonna be scrutinized for everything. Every loss, every INT, every little thing. There was already a meltdown with all 4 regular season losses he had last year.

I feel like next year if we can play with the lead in most games, Dak isn't gonna need to force the ball into traffic and we'll make other teams try to beat Micah Parsons and the defense. So it's hard to imagine he'll look the same as he did last year.

I don't see how Justin Fields belongs anywhere near the vicinity of the other 4, tho.

Pressure can mean different things - pass rush on a particular play, or simply the moment - the magnitude of a particular game.

Some guys can handle the first level while struggling to deal with the second. Dak hasn't proven he can handle the second. Until he does, he'll be scrutinized. He's the starting QB of the most popular, and polarizing, NFL team. He's makes a lot of money because of it. If he wants respect, there's one way to earn it - the postseason.

Just commit enough future picks to do it, but that requires failure of the present. That has not happened and wishful losing is purely foolish with what is already ready for a real fight. You afraid to own up to the fight?
Do you watch our games esp the playoffs?
Never afraid for the right cause but when Prescott is your boxer well let's just say keep the white towel handy......
Here's a photo of him in his corner during the fight.
Doesn't really instill confidence does he now?

Obvious with the 3rd straight win season coming down the chute. This current Dallas Franchise has the potential to reflect a current Kansas City image as well as a Sam Francisco dominance during the 1990's. Jimmy didn't keep his wall together. Players changed and then injuries emerged.
Yep

Dak may not be “under pressure” as far as losing his job, but there WILL be massive overreaction over EVERYTHING he does—every missed throw, INT, fumble, every questionable expression, locker room quote, press conference remark, Hell, every time the man visits the John, there’ll be detractors whining and “experts” portending doom.

The Cowboys as a team will get the same—every mistake, bad play, bad decision, will get MASSIVE overreaction. Every negative event will have Dallashaters gibbering nonsensically, delighted beyond all else in the demise of the Evil Empire. Be ready for nonsense!

Ints aren't the killers, it's not taking the throws the defense is giving you that kill drives and cost games.

There's certainly a distinct difference between Dak with a lead and Dak chasing a lead.....lets hope we acknowledge that and focus all-in at getting points early and allow Dak to play HIS game.

Dak is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. I can’t remember a year when he was not under the most pressure by the mediots. In reality Dak has no pressure at all. Dak signed a big contract a few years a go and is set for life. No pressure at all.

Whatever. He's the QB of the Dallas Cowboys which is the most scrutinized position in sports. It was no different with Romo every year. If you are deemed the chosen one by the Dallas Cowboys, the expectation is to win. The standard doesn't change.

Mina Kimes makes some good points about Dak. She's a much better journalist than hack Joy Taylor:

"Crazy to me how anyone could think he's not a Top 10 QB in the NFL"

"5th in QBR since he entered the league"

"ANY/A (a metric taking into account sacks, INTs, and TDs) is 9th in NFL history"

"From 2016-2021, 5th lowest INT rate for all QBs who've played at least 50 games."

Dak does not force the ball into traffic anymore than anyone else does. The team one 12 games and won a playoff game. It was a great season. There is going to be losses, big comebacks needed and deficits. Nothing to see here.

And yes the troll clowns will sit around waiting for losses to blame it all on Dak.

They are just pissed that despite a lot of picks, they couldnt blame more losses on DAk.

And complete and total football morons dont think Dak is a top 10 QB. We know who they are.

Agreed but I think everybody is all in at getting early points.
My main concern with MM is the offense showing up disciplined and prepared.

QB of the Dallas Cowboys without much playoff success makes you an easy target for the media and/or naysayers. Romo had to deal with the same scrutiny. But I dont think these guys really hear or care about what the media perceives as "pressure".

Is he the No. 1 overall player under pressure because he plays for the Dallas Cowboys so he'll draw attention for ESPN by ranking him No. 1?
I would say, Aaron in New York is under more pressure.

He will either prove his critics wrong or prove them right.
Well there are no safe bets in sports.. this one is a 100% lock for no... no matter what happens his critics will never admit to being wrong, to bad vegas doesnt have a line for that. If he won they would just say it was in spite of him.

Could care less what SAS says but to be fair.....

Good D
Good line
Good WR group

there's really no excuse

Just do it
You literally described 4 or 5 teams and there can only be one winner….head coaching and quarterbacking is where you gain an edge. You bette have some good ones.
