Okay, Will Whittaker is doing well so he's most likely in. Assuming Wade is in and Pucillo are in (Pucillo plays blocking TE in goalline situations), there's still Lefotu which, by most accounts, played well in Europe and is younger, therefore, he seems to be the logical #9.

Monilaro. What do you base your statement of Monilaro making our team on?

Flo should be as good as he was at the end of last season if not better. Kosier should be a little better having a second year with the same coach and playing the same position, which he has not had before. Gurode should improve some. Davis will be a major plus. Columbo also should get better with more experience. I see this line being a top 10 line.

Firehawk is a skin and therefore like a lawyer you will not hear any truth except what is slanted his way. He is so ill informed he does not know that Flo had a simple ACL, NOT AN ACHILLES INJURY. He did not know that Flo is only one year (not even that really) older then Jansen. SO obviously he knows VERY LITTLE. At 28 a O lineman can and often does improve as he gets more experience. Yet suddenly Gurode, who really only has about a total of 2 years in the pros playing Center, will not improve. I could go on but why bother?

I know Jansen is getting up there, but if you had a longer attention span than an autistic house fly, you'd read why I think Jansen may have a longer time span before him where he's considered a good lineman. I will not rehash it all to appease your scattered brain.

And Gurode only has 2 years total experience huh??? Yet, he's played in 72 games (that works out to be 4.5 years) and started 60 (which works out 3.75). Most players do MOST of their developing in their first 3 years. Gurode is entering his sixth...

I personally don't think he will (you've got like 3 back-ups at tackle right now anyways). I was just pointing out that because a player is on team A that team B cut, at this time of the year, doesn't mean that team A has worse depth then team B.

Playing center is quite a bit different then playing guard. But I guess thats a little over your pointy head. Jansen has no more real time to be good as the Hotel does. But once again you have problems recognizing reality.

I can agree with the bottom portion of this post. I don't see Flo being any better for reasons I stated above. But that's fine, we'll agree to disagree.

I think the rest is pretty good, and I see, if everything pans out (no regression by any player, especially Flo), being a top 10 line, which is above average.

Jansen and hotel are both nearing the stage of their careers where they start eyeing things after football, your right about that. They've both already peaked. My only argument, if you can follow along, is Flo will decline before Jansen because he's older, plays a tougher position (QB's blind side), and had a major injury. If you disagree, then fine, whatever dude. I can agree to disagree.

If you want to see who is the better fighter, what do you do? You arrange some ring time and throw them in, right??? If you want to find out who is the better football team, you find a field and let them play. Don't like it??? There are two more games coming up this year and maybe you can win those. Of course, we'll have all our players back healthy that weren't there for that game (springs, moss), so it's going to be even more difficult.

I guess you have not kept up on current medical knowledge as regards knee injuries. Even 5 years ago it was not done as well. The hotel had a simple ACL, not a bad one. ITs almost reached the point where that type of injury is not considered major at all, except from the point that it takes you a fair amount of time to recover. WIth no complications there is no loss of movement, strength or flexibility. You can rehab back to 98% of your previous ability ON AVERAGE. For someone willing to put in the extra work 100% is reachable.

Gurode is 29. No problem. BUT since he did not play much a lot in 2005, and not a lot (as I recall) in 2004 he does not have as much wear and tear on him. So that should make a difference.

I would too, which is why I said that comparing the bottom portions of the roster at this point in the season is pretty futile.
