15. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are a powerful zone-blocking team that sometimes struggles when their linemen are matched up one-on-one in space. They do a good job of scheming opponents to keep their linemen in tight, where they can use their bulk and strength to protect the pocket. They gave up a total of 37 sacks last season and posted a respectable 4.1 yards per carry, and the addition of Leonard Davis' bulk should help the running game. The question is whether he will line up at right tackle or right guard. If Davis moves inside to guard, then Marc Colombo will retain the right tackle spot. Center Andre Gurode and guard Kyle Kosier fill out the line and are serviceable but not great players. This is not the most athletic offensive line in the league, but they are massive and powerful.

Seems about right to me. He should have gone into more detail on the sacks. Bledsoe was sacked 16 times in 5.5 games. Romo was sacked 21 times in 10.5 games, which extrapolates to 32 for a full season. Getting rid of Bledsoe would help the worst of offensive lines.

I agree that the Bengals ranking is odd on that list.

I think he started 14 games in 04, but that's just what I remember seeing... He only started 2-3 games in 05...

And previous record is such a great way to say which team is better now huh? In that case, I guess the 05 10-6 Skins with the playoff victory was going to turn out better then the 9-7 Boys that stayed home. Wait, that didn't happen at all!!! But surely the 11-5 Bucs with a playoff loss would be better then the 3-13 Saints. Wait, that didn't happen either. Surely though, the 6-10 Eagles would never do well, right??? Right???

I would. A pro-bowl player, no matter how much of a joke that honor is now, will have to work hard to get replaced by a second year 7th round draft pick or a couple of mid-round rookies...

Hopefully guys like McQuistan are not just sitting on the bench taking up space, if he has been putting in the work and developing his skills why couldn't he? As for the rookies there is no way of telling how quick they will be able to learn and get up to speed at this level we will see how these guys do as we move forward. I do think Flo has to step it up this season especially with outside speed rushers or we may be seeing his replacement sooner rather than later.

McQuistan is no longer a rookie and we will see how much he has developed. I'm not anti-flo I want the best guys out there on the field playing and if that ends up being Flo then great but I don't see his spot cast in stone not based on his play.

Oh, I agree. I would love to see one of our young guys displace Adams but I just think it would be pretty unlikely, at this point. Your team is really not looking good at all depth wise, you have a 2nd year QB that really did not show much, and it's going to be worse this year (yeah bring Romo up...but he's been here for 4 years prior)...and St. Gibbs looks like warmed over death on game days...he just does not look like he know what the hell is going on.

But, keep the faith, because as of now, and what transpired last year (which you like to bring up) the Cowboys are a better team, period!

You could win a game against the Cowboys this year, maybe sweep the Boyz...but you know what? That don't mean crap to Cowboy fans, at all! The Dallas Cowboys are about winning SuperBowls...you Stink fans and your teams players are all about JUST BEATING THE Cowboys! If you can at least do that...you can dream happy dreams at night...

Everything I hear about McQ is that he wants to be the starting LT. BUT if the team needs him at LG he will put out 110% there. Frankly, unless the Hotel implodes I do not see McQ being good enough to beat him out. He needs more time and experience- of which he has actually very little. Physical talent he has a lot.

Two players from the Cowboys' O-line made the pro-bowl when Washington's O-line was easily the better of the two units.

Gurode is more than servicable and he's athletic, I believe he'll only improve along with gaining more confidence.
