News: ESPN: Sources: Cowboys' Overshown tore ACL, MCL and PCL ligaments

The one bright spot out of yet another terrible Cowboys season and now even that is down the drain. This year is just a compete mess with absolutely nothing good to come out of it. The one thing you could have taken out of this absolute crap season is Overshown emerging has a top tier player, now even that's gone. Man is it tough to be a Cowboys fan with no light at the end of the tunnel.

You absolutely can NOT give this guy an extension or 2nd contract, no matter how well he plays in 5 years when he returns.

But did they confirm with Dr. Jerry? You know he'll say Overshown will be back by draftn which in turn will be their reasoning for not drafting a LB or addressing it in free agency.

Well that’s terrible news. Really nothing else to say.

Hope he recovers fully.

I'm looking for precedent. This is one of the worst knee injuries an athlete can sustain in any sport. I can't find a single instance of an NFL player coming back from an MCL, PCL, ACL reconstructive surgery. This is worse than Nick Chubb's recent knee injury, Worse than Adrian Petersons 2011 knee injury, worse than Willis Mcgahee's 2003 injury in the Fiesta bowl. If this isn't a career killer, he's certainly never going to be the same player. Very tragic.

Double teams, choke holds, arm bars. Chasing the runner up thd field from behind wears you out. :) :muttley:
The two that play for Pitts and Cleveland seem to be on the field full time, camera is never on those two kneeling on the sideline when their defenses are battling.

How can Parsons get injured when he spends most of his time getting his second, third, fourth, fifth wind on one knee WATCHING the defense bust their behinds trying to stop opponents. I've never seen a team's so-called super star pulling himself out of the game so much because he's tired................LOL!

Delusional post. Micah plays a crazy number of snaps. That’s why he is tired. He plays them because he has to because the defense sucks without him.
