And have over the winning lottery numbers while you're at it...

Not sure who could've seen this coming. This is awful for this kid. :(
Oh I agree. I feel awful for him. Not about that, but more about the apparent cloud over this organization.

Kid needs to plan on something else for his future. These injuries follow you. Limping around in old age is no fun.

The good news for him is he just guaranteed himself getting a huge payday. We all know how JJ like to throw money at damaged goods.
His entire knee was destroyed. He would have to
return to the same player we saw this season to get a huge payday. Not likely that will happen. It’s likely to be what could have been with him.

I’m surprised surgery is scheduled this early. They are not even waiting for range of motion or the swelling to subside. That means the knee is completely destroyed

He may recover from this to play in 2026 but he will never be the same. That knee will always give him problems during that much physical stress.

Can’t think of anything completely comparable.

Just for reference, Chubb had the ACL & MCL injury in week 2 of 2023 and didn’t come back until week 7 of this year. Says he still working his way back. However, I believe his injury was to the same leg he injured previously.
