Horrible news; one of the few positives from this awful season.

Horrible news. I was hoping that it wouldn't be catastrophic. Players have tried before but this will probably end his career. Hope his agent told him to take out an insurance policy. Most do because of this very scenario.

he is done. I think his career maybe over. he will recover. he will play but doubt if he is ever going to be as effective. this is a second knee injury for him and the first one took a while to heel and for him to get to full power.

The front office needs to move forward expecting him to never be a player again and address LB accordingly. If he ever does come back then that’s a bonus.

This is a real bummer. He started the season strong and we were just starting to really see more of what he was capable of doing.

I am legit more bummed out for him than I am about how the season has gone/will finish.

The two that play for Pitts and Cleveland seem to be on the field full time, camera is never on those two kneeling on the sideline when their defenses are battling.

Just as I predicted, sadly, 3 out of his 4 knee ligaments are torn. Yikes! Definitely going to need major knee reconstruction and might not ever be able to play football again.

I really couldn’t even come close to knowing, but why wouldn’t he be able to rehab it when it’s all in the same spot he would have to work on anyway?

Again, I have no idea and I’m asking more than telling.

The good news for him is he just guaranteed himself getting a huge payday. We all know how JJ like to throw money at damaged goods.

The kid had that extra gear. Hard to imagine that he recovers that.

The NFL is really, really a game of such incredible savagery and physicality.
