CATCH17;5079289 said:Please give more reasons? He can't protect the passer as well as Clabo. So I don't really see why they would want Winston over Clabo unless they think Winston is a long term solution which he is not.

When they spoke to a source they said they thought Clabo wore down at the end of the season and did not look as good as Winston.
Personally I think Clabo is/was the better option...but either way there was more than one logical reason.
Sometimes you say something and realize you were wrong later...in this case it is just a matter of time before you realize, and admit, that you were wrong.
Winston, according to FO, graded higher. More athletic and Clabo was wearing down toward end of last year. Winston would like to play in Texas. The implication was that the Cowboys are in fact interested in Winston.CowboyFan74;5079264 said:Can u give us a recap?

Ok I was wrong. It wasn't the only logical reason.

This comes down to money -- what can you get him for, do you keep Free, and if so, can you move Free inside to OG. Free might be able to move inside despite height because he doesn't play tall.
That's the nutshell summary, after one quick, somewhat distracted listen.

This is the second audio clip I have heard and just from listening to him...this "stretch" guy sounds like an idiot who is more interested in making up a funny line than to accurately describe players.
