Would I trade a RB, a gimp, a false prophet and a basketball player for he who was foretold to us?

You guys just can't stand how right I was. Well, I can't stand it either now that he's an Eagle.

Wentz has had the spotlight now.

He's played well and deserves it thus far.

But I think a big reason why he's leading other than playing decently on MNF, is because it's such a new story.

I think a big reason is he's played the best. Because he's the best player.

Add in that he practically had no camp/preseason and came from Division 2 and it's kind of, sort of special what he's doing.

Wentz just might have beat the 2 worst teams in the league. Let's see where he's at in December once he's played the Steelers, Vikings, Giants, Cowboys, Seahawks, Bengals, and Packers. I'd be shocked if they end up winning more than 4-5 games this year.

I don't think either Zeke or Dak will get any rookie awards.

And the reasoning will be the same as when Demarco and Tony finished 2nd and 3rd in MVP voting.

Dak won't start enough games.

Romo will come back, he may get hurt again but I would bet he starts at least six games, hopefully more.

I think Wentz will fall back to earth somewhat as teams gather more tape on him. He is ready to start in this league but he didn't even play in preseason so opposing defenses had nothing to go by but college.

Regardless, he could just as easily be the next RGIII if he doesn't preserve himself. He doesn't look very big out there and he has taken a beating already.

I can't wait until the Eagles play the Giants and Commanders. Only then will we see how they, and Wentz, rack&stack in this division. Dak has faced 2 of the 3 divisional rivals in his first two starts in his career and held his own. Don't get blinded by the freak show midget-fights that the Eagles have engaged in for Wentz's first two games. Wentz will eventually have to put together some long, comeback drives to pull out wins. Can he do it?

The division sucks. I find it funny that now all of a sudden the Giants and Commanders are like a murderer's row to get through.

Outside of this fan base there is no question as to who has been the best and who will remain the best. Prescott just lacks talent. Wentz doesn't. What I want is irrelevant.
