Yeah but we have the best o-line in football, a top 5 WR, a soon to be great RB, a hall of fame tight end, and an elite QB when healthy. They don't have any of those things. I'd rather have that and a bad defense than a bad offense and average defense.

Their defense isn't average. It's likely going to be a Top 10ish defense.

Their offense isn't bad either............. especially if Wentz keeps playing like he has.

They certainly aren't giving the Broncos or Panthers a run for their money but Philly is better than you think............. well as long as Wentz continues to play adequately. If he does, expect Philly to be right there with us and the Giants for the division.

RS, I wish I could sit down and shoot the breeze with you over an adult social beverage (or two or three).
Something tells me I would be both entertained and enlightened...

If you're serious I could probably set that up with my parents. DM me.

I have no problem with people saying Wentz has done better thus far. What's important is that Dak and Wentz have outperformed everyone else by a mile.

Regardless, Romo will be sending Dak to the bench at some point. Wentz is there to stay.

They only had 10 passing attempts each in that game. Really not much to go by.

Or you could say Dak made the most of his throws and was impressive enough (even with the small sample size) to be voted the MVP. :)

Regardless, he could just as easily be the next RGIII if he doesn't preserve himself. He doesn't look very big out there and he has taken a beating already.

Wentz is 6'5, 240 and has about 20 pounds on RGIII. Not saying he doesn't need to start avoiding those hits, but he's the same size as Roethlisberger, who is literally nicknamed "Big Ben."

To me it doesn't matter. Dallas is very lucky in what they may have found. Our opinions all may change a month, year or years from now. But for now, they have a guy who is someone we can be very excited about.

Maybe these two will be dueling for a decade, kind of like Marino and Kelly, Flacco and Big Ben and Brady and Manning. :)

Dak actually has played better Comp, but i would say both have been impressive at the moment. Lets see what wentz does vs steelers !

Regardless both the eagles and Cowboys should be very happy right now !

Eli will be hanging them up soon and they have no replacement - Skins Cousins in turmoil right now it 50/50 right now on him

I stand corrected. He seems slimmer on the field to me though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Ben is a little fatter than his listed 240 and Wentz a little thinner than his listed 237, but yeah, he's not a small dude.

That being said, at his size he's probably used to just bouncing off those hits playing at North Dakota State, which is why he just stands in and takes them. Like I said I agree he won't last long getting hit like that at this rate, but its a pretty teachable skill.

Yup........they play pee wee Flag football at the FCS level..............that is why NDSU just knocked off their 6th straight FBS level opponent in #13 Iowa last week............Iowa just couldn't adapt

@ Iowa too

Seriously, NDSU is FCS by label only. Very solid team...

Be. Was definitely closer to 260(maybe more) earlier in his career, but he has slimmed down. Maybe its because of an adjusted workout in general or maybe he let himself get leaner because he has an nfl calibre offe sive line now, but yeah he was a tank.

I don't know if he's watching the same Wentz I am. Wentz looks pretty big out there.

But that being said, no matter how big he is, he can't continue to take the hits he's been taking. A couple of them on Monday were cringe worthy if that had been a Cowboys QB taking that hit.

It just brings the Browns into focus.

After drafting QB after QB, most recently Johnny Manziel, then signing RG3 to big money, which actually led them to trade the pick that turned into Carson Wentz.

They are beyond helpless.
Gotta feel for their fans
If a 20 yr old Payton manning was in the draft they could find a way to screw it up
