Why we used a 2nd on a back up TE twice in 3 years really mystifies me.

Bennett is a backup?

I thought he was a starter along with Witten in our 2 TE offense.

Hard to adjust a system to account for a player who drops passes. Phillips was way more clutch than Bennett as the season went on last year, so any wonder why Romo trusted him more?

I hope everyone that is whining took the time to watch the entire interview. It is not nearly as evil as some like to portray it. Not saying MB is going to be a great player or does not have a huge ego, but things tend to get blown out of proportion, especially in the off season.

People seem to forget he was hurt for a while! If he is healthy and puts in the work next season. Our passing game improves big time. He is a really good athlete who can really cause problems when he and Witten are both on the field. We should be rooting for him to work out. Not trying to find a way to trade him. What would we get anyway? A 4th or 5th round pick? Not nearly enough compensation for the talent he has.

Exactly. And who cares what he said? I don't. Some in here act like he needs to be this robotic figure. He is one who speaks his mind. We had guys like that back when we were winning Super Bowls. We'll just have another as we go to the Super Bowl this year.
