They spent a second on Escobar, so now he gets to earn that spot.

has Witten ever missed a game?

Witten, who is known for his high pain tolerance, missed one game early in his career with a broken jaw. He also insisted on playing in this year's season opener against the New York Giants after rupturing his spleen in the preseason.

Has a team ever lost ALL of its best offensive players at the same time like this? Injuries are quite common in football, but this seems a little unprecedented.

This team is having some super bad luck with the injury bug to start the season.

If he was able to finish the game with those injuries, then he's playing in a game a week later. Only thing that will stop him is if he somehow makes it worse during the week of practice, and I doubt they'll allow that to happen.

At his age I would rather let him heal up and just go with what we have.

At this point... Why not?

What are the odds that even if he sits this game, he will still be called for illegal motion at least twice.
