If he goes 0-3 my inclination is to jettison him. What's the point of keeping him if he can't win games?

I think the question to be asked is if he put the team in position to win said games. I'd say that in 2 of the 3 games he played (even with the INTs), he did.

This is without question i would love Cassel back with a full training camp to learn the playbook. He has gotten better every game and I think we will win on sunday.

I'm not opposed to Cassel being the b/u QB in the future.
I'm not opposed to Cassel.

It hasn't been his play that has been the difference for him.

His defense is not up to the task.

I'm not even opposed to Weeden as # 3.

But I too, think we need a young QB in the pipeline now which probably means Weeden is gone.

They'll cut Weeden as soon as Romo is eligible to come off IR. As for a young QB in the pipleline, we have two on the PS, Moore and Showers.

I don' t know if that is going to be enough.

I see Dallas trying to trade for Manziel or RGIii...

Just my feeling.

Keep in mind you really dont want Romo grooming a young QB. You want Romo focused on playing. You want a vet back up working with the youngling

I prefer Hasselbeck to Cassell. I think he can work with a young QB, and help Romo with game prep. I think Mr. We Are Gonna Take The Ball, And We're Gonna Score would get along famously with Romo

Not enough, seriously? If they wanted more than 3 QBs they wouldn't cut Weeden. Who or what are they trading?

Disagree. His pocket presence was poor against the Giants and Phili and that deer in headlights look never left him throughout. That said, perhaps a training camp could help? I really want some young potential talent in TC with this offense. There's no guarantees we're not in the same position with Romo again next year. Then what? Hope one of these journeyman QB can take us to the bowl waiting for another draft to get a QB. We need to start looking immediately. We're going to turn into another Miami after the loss of Marino. I can't live that long.

No way in hell either happens. I don't see any way we would take either if they were free.

I can actually see Johnny Football. Jerry complained quite a bit about not getting his way there. Just brought him back up last week.
He's still on ole JJs feeble mind.

We are going to have several high draft picks next year to dangle..

not that. I want to fork them over for either of those guys..

bit we can listen to offers for sure.

I wouldn't be shocked. I think Cleveland wants to get rid of him. If the price was cheap enough I think Jerry would bite.
