ESPN's MVP Poll is an absolute joke

The Cowboy rookies are cannibalizing each other in the voting.

To be fair, when had two players made such an immediate simultaneous impact on the success of team? Shouldn't it warrant a serious consideration for co-MVP's?

The combined inpact of Zeke and Dak far surpass the other candidates.

In any case, I'm willing to trade the honor out for Super Bowl MVP.

Afc championship game with our dear friend Bledsoe :)

They also won an AFC championship with Tony Eason. Anything short of a Lombardi trophy is coming up short in my book. NE hasn't won any of those without Brady.

The Dallas Cowboys have two of the top five vote-getters - but neither are at 'Number One'... dang, we must be hurting!

What a problem! I'll take this all day, every day.

Carr: 100.5 passer rating, 66.7 QBR

Dak: 108.6 passer rating, 86.0 QBR

No comparison.

Carr even has a very good oline that is just as good or maybe even beeter in pass protection than ours, a very good running back, and the best wide receiver combo in the NFL.

10-1 is better than 9-2.

86.0 QBR is MUCH better than 66.7.

108.6 passer rating is MUCH better than 100.5.

Dak has the better numbers and the better record.

Carr has weak excuses for not being as good.

A QBR of 66 is great man...Anything about 60 is considered a good QBR

A passing rating over 100 is great.

Also, Dak is 23 in total QB plays on QBR with 417 total QB plays compared with Dereks 509. Everyone talks about Alex Smith being a game manager...Prescott is the perfect definition of a game manager and being a game manager is NOT A BAD THING...Play it safe, dont make mistakes, throw it deep once in a while..Alex Smith 2.0..

That being said, Dak reminds me more of Russell Wilson than he does Alex Smith, although all three have the same attributes: Smart quarterbacks that wont wow you with gaudy numbers or insane talent but also wont make mistakes that kill their teams.

Carr's 66.7 QBR is 14th-best in the NFL.

Dak's 86.0 QBR is the very best in the NFL.

Again, no comparison.

If 66.7 is "great", what's 86.0? Otherworldly?

Dak's also nearly a full yard better per pass attempt (8.3 vs 7.4) and more than a yard better per completion (12.3 vs 11.1). Dak also has the better completion % (67.9 vs 66.4) and leads the NFL in 4th quarter QBR (89.8). Dak's TD % is higher (5.3 vs 5.2) and his INT % is lower (0.6 vs 1.2).

Oh, and then there's the one stat that truly matters... Dak is 10-1. The rest of the league is looking up at that record.

There is no question that Dak has clearly outperformed Derek Carr. None. The only thing Carr backers have is to pretend Carr doesn't have a strong supporting cast himself (he does).

So Matt Ryan threw himself out of contention this week... Pick six and a pick two (Eric Berry is a beast). Falcons with 5 losses.

Between Zeke and Carr now and Buffalo currently up 10-3.

I agree he's a good QB, but how many playoff wins does Matt Ryan have? The media seems to be in love with him every year

lol, no. Ryan still has amazing numbers, as long as they can get in the playoffs he'll get strong consideration. Peterson won the MVP with a 10-6 wild card team.
Looks like a runaway for Carr is mounting though, they are almost a shoo in to get to 12 wins now and he's got the momentum.
