17 is about right.
Yea...neither did GB, Seattle, Carolina, Chicago, or Minnesota...but they are all rated higher than us. This is a top 10 team.

Honestly I dont care and have never got why folks here get so upset about it, but they have the 9-6-1 Eagles 4th, the 9-7 Bears 11th, the 6-10 Packers 12th and even the 4-12 Seahawks ahead of us at 15th. It makes little sense to me. Our starters on offense and defense have looked better than all those teams in preseason, although I will admit the Packers looked pretty sharp.

It's because the experts don't actually know that much about any one team. Ironically, it's not their job. They're too busy being on the TV and radio to do the research necessary to learn what's been going on with each team during the offseason. Thus, Clayton's tunnel vision focus on R. Williams.

Haha... The Boys went 2-2 in the preseason and the rest of the beast went 1-3... and we are 17th! I also say a bunch of iggle fans saying Dallas is going to go 1-7 in the first 8!!

Ahhh...

:eagles:

To be fair, Carolina and Minnesota both went to the playoffs.

i wish they would keep us at 32, until we win the SB...

then jump us from 32 up to 1

Embrace the hate. I love it. I watched a lot of preseason football, and got the following:

1) NYG, and Philly are overrated. McNabb is entering his 11th season...that has to mean something, if nothing more than he is injury prone and slower than he was before. Heaven help them if Vick has to QB that team. Zero pocket presence, and a penchant for fumbling...not good.

Do the Giants have proven WRs? They have a good D, but I'm not sold on Eli's confidence with his WRs.

2) The Panthers ranked ahead of the Cowboys?? LOL!! The Panthers converted about 15% of their 3rd downs in preseason. Yes, it is preseason but starters were no better than backups. I think the Panthers will be in the basement of their division.

3) The latest in thing is to fire your OC just before the start of the season. A handful of teams did this, and some of those teams are on our schedule. Chalk up W's for us. Spin it how you want, but firing your OC at the end of training camp is a death wish. That is never a good thing.

4) Washington sucked all preseason. Enuff said.

a 44-6 spanking in a must win game will do that buddy.

This is basically the same team that went 13-3 two years ago, sans TO.

But we are better at corner, running back, tight end, back up QB and safety.

Romo has two additional years under his belt.

Wade can finally unleash HIS defense.

And we have a kicker that will put it in the endzone or in your mouth or up your arse.

People are greatly over looking Romo's injury last year and the fact we were horrible at safety.

If Romo doesn't throw that INT against the Steelers, and we don't give up the two TD runs against Baltimore the pundits would have us right up there in the top 10. Three plays.

I just don't think people in he 7 to 9 win club have any idea how much we may be improved in the secondary.

They don't, because these are the same people saying that secondary was a big weakness on our team.

Do we lack depth? Maybe. But there aren't many teams that can hang with us when you look at cornerbacks 1 through 3 on our roster.

What was Arizona ranked in week one of last year?

I like it, I can watch us move up the rankings instead of down for a change. ;)
