Euro 2012 Thread

As a huge Spain fan, I have to agree with you about the 58-70 team. Even though Copa America doesn't have the caliber of teams that Euro does, the championships that Brazil won then speak for themselves. I think the victory today allowed the two teams to be talked about in this manner, but I still believe the edge goes to Brazil. However, if Spain wins 2014 World, then I think they can call themselves the greatest ever.

And yes, it was fairly lopsided. Italy had some good chances here and there from some nice crosses from pirlo, but Spain was just too much for them. Once Italy went down a man, you could tell they had settled for the loss.

i agree, i think if they win the world cup they will be clearly the best team ever, specially considering its going to be in brazil. but as of right now, i just cant put them over those two brazil eras

I'm a Barcelona fan so I'm happy for them, but internationally I would have preferred Germany. Oh well.
