It is. Spain finished below Croatia in the group stage so played the winner of the Italians group rather than the runner up of the group Hungary ended up winning.

And the journey continues. England out. Joe Hart had a bad tournament.

Joe Hart is, like a few English players, massively overrated. Fraser Forster is a far better keeper but he doesn't play for a glamorous club so he's down the pecking order. The fact Jack Wilshere who has hardly played in well over a year (read somewhere that Leeds have had 6 managers since he last played 90 minutes for Arsenal) was in the squad over Danny Drinkwater and particularly Mark Noble who were outstanding this season is a joke.
That being said I'm Scottish so long may it continue because I'm not likely to get any entertainment from us in a major tournament any time soon.

No doubt English players tend to be overrated. I do think Hart is a fine keeper even if a little overrated. I don't think much about Wilshere. He has always been all hype. I heard his name long before I ever saw him play. Even saw him in a commercial before ever seeing him on the pitch. He does not impress me at all. Reminds me of Joe Cole who was always hyped up, but never had that magic on the field.

i mean seeded by a ranking not pool performance.
I.e. instead of this old fashioned pool play scenario simple rank teams 1-32 and play a double elimination tourney.
