Ya know, the most ridiculous part of this entire discussion about Henson and how he performs is, people are assuming we know what the Cowboys are evaluating.

Hey folks, I have news for ya...the Cowboys aren't going to look at his passer rating and make a decision about his future based on that.

He might have a good rating and still get the boot. Let's say, for instance, the Cowboys want to see him go through his progressions..but instead he continually locks on to one WR...even if his rating is great, the organization isn't going to be happy.

Conversely, let's say Henson was like Hutch and had little pocket presence and that was the thing they wanted to see him improve. If he did so, yet his passing numbers weren't great, the organization might still be very happy with his performance.

We have NO idea what the organization is evaluating..and without that, it becomes damn near impossible for any of us to evaluate his performance in NFLE and how it will impact his future.

Great analysis. The exact reason I don't these Henson bashers. Just because he hasn't set the world on fire he must suck. If he were that bad, he would already be gone people. The Cowboys see something even if the average Joe doesn't.

Guys since my friend who works for the Cowboys provided such a accurate report on Vanderjaqt ive been constantly bugging him to try and find out some more juicy info on the inner workings of the Cowboys.

I mean hes not a high up or anything , but he said he will try to ask around , as he sees some guys weekly bi weekly who have some knowledge of the inner workings .

So I called him today and he told me that Dallas is really looking at harrington as the second string qb. He said Dallas feels they have a real chance for a Super Bowl this season and would hate to see that go up in smoke if Bledsoe got hurt and no solid second string guy could come in and do the job. ...Seriously....Tony Romo...

anyway he told me it all depends on henson's progress in europe. From what he gathered from a player personal employee directed qouted '' Europe is Drews last chance not only for us but probably for the Nfl, if he doesnt show he's capable playing there then were definatly going to be seriously considering Harrington or drafting a qb in the first few rounds''

Lol...Henson leading the leauge in passer rating by 20 points...He's 2-0 as a starter...Great progress Drew all of us Cowboys fans appreciate the hard work.

Exactly, he's the only QB on the team signed through 2008. You don't have to predict the future here its already written...in the contracts. Great job by BP and JJ.

His numbers are pedestrian so far, nothing flashy....Henson will have to step it up big time if he wants a roster spot on another NFL team if we choose to cut the cord.

Henson is going to make guys like you look really stupid a few weeks from now.. mark it down...
