And how extactly is it his last chance when he hasnt had a first chance? lol

Sounds like a load to me. You dont bail on an QB's 8 year contract becase he is rusty. We could have someone much worse in that spot believe me.

He signed an eight-year contract that guaranteed him $3.5 million, but it can be voided after only four seasons.

According to Jerry, he hasn't even bothered to look at film of Henson in Europe. Either he's lying or it sounds like Henson isn't exactly in the spotlight as far as long term plans are concerned.

The only films Jerruh is looking at are X rated ones.

LOL. Persecute you? What is this? The Inquisition or the Colloseum?

I think you're persecuting people with your incessant chanting of Henson is a failure, his time is up, Europe is his last chance, blah, blah blah.

But, you're right. I shouldn't have said impersanator. Should have just called you the real thing.

You know who that guy reminds me of is bannedinaustin or something like that you know why because ban.. was a knucklehead who couldn't stand Henson...

also this Mike guy makes no sense.... for example

did we have no shot at the SB last year or the year before that...who were the back-ups then...If JJ and BP thought we had no shot and didn't get those 2 young QB's reps then they both should be shot

A 3rd string player who has been allocated to Europe has a shakey foothold with their organization?

This sounds just crazy enough to be true. You can't make this stuff up.

the clips I saw of Henson in the Berlin game were encouraging. alot of dump offs to the outlet recievers. Not many throws deep downfield, but it looks like his confidence is building. I think really that's all that stands in his way. I don't know what the fuss is about over Harrington. The man started with excellent recievers and running backs for years and was only ever mediocre at best. His problem again was in his head. He'd self destruct all the time. Thinks too much about every play, before and after execution. If Bledsoe went down, I'd almost rather have Romo.

...Well that's pretty sad if people are blinded by pointless stats in the NFL FARM LEAGUE.....

...Romo has already shown he's much better

So what is it dude? How can you say his numbers are pedestrian and then say they're pointless? If they're pointless, why did you make a point in saying that they were pedestrian? And actually his numbers are not too shabby, but who cares about numbers in NFL Europe anyway. The field conditions and weather have been pretty bad and he's performed well. You have to actually watch the games and have a clue about football to understand how he is playing, not look at stats.

And how and when has Romo proven he's "much better" than Henson? Henson won the backup job after not playing football for years in 2004, then the Cowboys tinkered with his delivery in 2005 and he struggled and fell to 3rd string. There was an injury there as well. Anyhow, I've never seen Romo take a real NFL snap to make any judgement one way or the other, but to say that Romo is "much better" makes no sense, unless you have some sort of agenda against Henson. The only time we've seen Romo play was in pre-season and well that's pretty sad if people are blinded by his mediocre pointless stats during the NFL pre-season. ;)

I disagree. Hensen doesn't need to show himself to be a gunslinger. Look at Chang ...

Hensen simply needs to show he can manage the game, make the big throw when it counts, and get the team into the endzone. He needs to able to make clutch third down throws, and not make any mistakes.

That will help him tremendously. Gunslinging ala Brett Favre will get him tossed from the NFL.

He doesn't need numbers, he need consistent and level headed play ... he needs to show he's the leader of the team. Not numbers!!!

Exactly Eddie. The biggest numbers to look at in Europe are this...2-0 as a starter.

From what I've read on here from Michigan fans, that was his MO there. Make smart plays, move the chains, sustain drives, don't force it. I'm not sure what more people want. He's doing everything asked of him. What's the problem?

Henson does everything asked of him. He has been sacked, what, once. He has thrown the ball away rather than taking sacks, only fumbled once during a snap exchange. He hasn't put up great TD number because this is NFLE where you don't get in rythm with your receivers. He is doing well in my opinion.
