What I like about this kid is that he's decisive with the football. He gets rid of it quick. Smart field awareness. Look at the 2nd play in the video, he knows the defense jumped, he's got a free play so he tries to go deep.

He has no real rapport with most of these receivers at this time. His feel for where to place the ball is pretty good for guys he's only been throwing to for about 3 weeks.

It's early and it's only 2 games in, but the talent is obvious. You can play in this league or you can't. I would expect a rookie QB with NFL level talent to be able to move the ball on 2nd and 3rd stringers. Rush has done it 2 games in a row now in limited actions, leading drives that have scored 17 points.

He wasn't under a ton of pressure the entire AZ game

Rush is one of those guys with some talent who threw a **** ton of balls in college. He has a quick release, great touch and he knows what he's doing. I just hope he's not the next Matt Moore.

Actually I would take the next Matt Moore as a backup QB.

Too soon to know where Rush's ceiling is. But I like what I see so far.

Pretty sure you put this together yourself, so thanks for the work bro.

People like you make this board better than the rest.

Last night was the FIRST time I ever watched him play. I was intrigued enough to go get the HOF game from last week to look at the series he had in the 2nd half. What leaps out at me is the game speed doesn't seem to faze him. There's none of the indecisive dancing at the end of the drop trying to decide where to go with the ball.

Moore, who has 3 NFL seasons under his belt, looked far more indecisive scanning the field and trying to make up his mind where to go.

I haven't seen a UDRFA QB look this good since Romo showed up in 2003. It's a great start, excited to see if he can build on it.

thanks for putting this together.
what do you think of his arm strength?

actually the decision should be pretty easy.
you cut cooper and u get moore as a backup while possibly losing cooper.

I think maybe you missed my point. I would take Matt Moore at back up in a heartbeat as well. I just don't want the team to try to sneak rush onto the practice squad and end up watching him go flourish somewhere else instead --like Matt Moore.

Can someone post his stats through two games along with Dak's from his first two preseason games last year. I'm sure Dak's will be better but having them side by side will show just how ridiculous it would be to keep Moore as the backup and risk losing Rush.

OK. Gotcha.

But unless Rush lights it up like Prescott did last year, I don't see another team taking him. They would have to put him on their active roster. And most teams are developing their own guys.

Never underestimate the value of any QB in the NFL that even shows a tiny spark of promise.......the supply is just that tight at any one time there are only maybe a dozen guys that have "it" to any degree.

......it would give them plausible deniability to prevent competition for K.Moore if someone did.....they could say "we didnt think there was a chance"............tin foil hat :)
