Injuries are part of it.

Wow someone in here with common sense I think that some of our fans don’t realize this stuff happens all around the NFL suspensions holdouts players being traded stories coming out of a rest I don’t know pretty much everything it happens all teams biggest players are humans our coaches things happen

Oxnard residents have a valid argument. If you ever been there you see how close the field it is to several homes. At the same time, they have to understand the bigger pitcure and the benefit for the local ecomomy.

I have to attend some work stuff in that area during camp (crazy how that happens) and the hotels close by were $300 plus a night.

I love that they come to California for selfish reasons, but as someone who worked in football operations a long time, it would be better for the team if camp was in Frisco and Arlington.

As far as drama, I think we are experiencing a mild off-season. Dak-hate is at an all-time high but I don't think those people (fans and rivals) can be saved; they have made up their mind.

Zack will be a professional.

Happening all around the lead to other teams holdouts arrest problems injuries I mean he just name the entire NFL happening all around the league the other teams hold outs arrest problems injuries and you just name the entire NFL you do realize these people you know players and coaches are humans and if you look at the human population they had the same issues ? No need to sweat the small stuff until it actually needs to be an issue come the week before game one we can talk about all this but like the entire league is having drama it’s just part of life things happen not everything is positive you know if you grew up with you think that life is rainbows and unicorns I hate to break it to you but it’s not
1)Never said or even implied that life is unicorns and rainbows. Duh.
2)My whole point is endless drama is more prominent than ever, the whole world over, and the media stirs the drink. Another duh.
3)Being how the Cowboys are the most polarizing, they’ll always be at the forefront of the overreactive drama we see and hear daily. The third, and biggest, duh!

Personally, I think Zach will get resolved, and that Oxnard won’t hurt us. Doesn’t mean the analysts and “experts” won’t ratchet up the drama.

My point if you look around on Facebook and social media and go to nfl.com or TMZ you’re gonna find out the league is open arms with possible holdouts in force trades all over the place I haven’t got suspended for gambling there’s injuries everywhere I realize that we see all these cowboy stories because we are looking for them we are not just common cowboy fans we are on the daily talking about the Cowboys and we get all the push notifications and what not but I’m still saying you’re over reacting nothing has happened so far
this off-season Estacada derail the season when it does let me know lol

I realize what you’re saying in your part but that’s the point the stuff going around and all over the world and in our daily lives it happens to the players and the coaches as well it’s not a big deal I see the stuff happening all around the league I’m saying a little premature we can start worrying about the season about two weeks before the season we will have seen all of training camp we will have seen all the preseason games we will see who’s about to be cut off this roster when we can start figuring out what game one looks like

So you’re saying that they’re the only team that experience holdouts players who want to be traded injuries arrest and all the other stuff that’s going on I’d say it happens to all teams on a yearly basis for which we don’t get to hear about but some of it we do the factors we know more about our own team because we’re paying attention and we’re plugged into our own team but it’s happens all over it has nothing to do with Jerry and by the way it’s your game one is on the horizon this is a crybaby whiny whoa is me post it has no bearing on the season the things that are going on right now
NO ONE is saying we’re the only team! The drama and overreaction is everywhere, and yes, we DO notice it more because it’s out team. But NO TEAM gets more coverage than the Dallas Cowboys. Everyone knows that!

I think it’s interesting, but disturbing, that something pops up every year that threatens the success of the team. Holdouts, bad injuries to key players, arrests, bad trades, stupid quotes—drama drama drama. This year it’s disgruntled residents in Oxnard and a potentially DISASTROUS Zach Martin holdout. We’re doooooommed!

Think this year’s drama will hurt us? Think we’ll ever have a drama-free year?
As long as Hard Knocks is covering the NY Jets and Rodgers circus, we will be out-drama’d…..I hope

I hadn’t heard anything about disgruntled residents in Oxnard.

I always enjoy Hard Knocks. Look forward to it this year. There’s a good Netflix series that just started on 3 NFL QB’s. Mahomes, Cousins and Mariota. Pretty good. And nothing about the Cowboys.

All starts at the top unfortunately
The Dallas organization handles almost all challenges that involve a court action or special law suite applications. Jerry works for legal actions as well as is able to walk the path for success. He also commits his own resources for the human and supportive elements for a player's human side. That part I do support and respect in the man. To his own disadvantage, he fought for player free agency back in '95 too.

There is only one drama queen running the show. The other one is his future stand-in.
This team will always play in a top shelf environment and home as long as there is a Jerry. My wife, who knows little or cares little about football, loved their first game in now, AT&T Stadium.

Does Jimmy ask for time on Jerry's yacht?

i think he may hold out, but if he does it isnt that big of a deal for a veteran lineman.
only if he holds out during season would it have any effect on anything.

I’m interested in the Oxnard residents complaint. First look it appears they have a legit complaint.

Some does, but I mean society in general. People nowdays are so easily triggered. They overreact to virtually everything, and the media happily encourages it for clicks. An example: when I was a kid, I remember standing in six inches of snow, waiting for the school bus, and it was no big deal. Now? Two inches has panicky weather reports and school closings everywhere! A coming storm has people flooding the local market, sucking up bread, milk and TP. I remember when 5 or 6 of us would jump into the uncapped bed of someone’s truck, and fly off to a party or bbq. Now? People get fined if everyone’s not buckled into a proper seat.

Drama, overreaction. Just sayin’.
it is a PC world now

Those are all bad things....but every team deals with them...and every fanbase thinks their team has it the worst.

Just like penalties.

What "circus" or "drama"? Aaron is pretty boring in training camp. I saw it live for 17 years. He just goes to practice and meetings. The most dramatic thing you get from Aaron during camp is a couple hugs and him telling everyone that he loves them.
