Does Jones ask for time on Johnson's Three Rings?
Uh, they are currently in His Display Case, the team's, at AT&T.

Aren't they supposed to have buried the hatchet? Jimmy likes boats and lives on the coast. Apparently he also hasn't turned down many party typed celebrations where beer was being served.

You really heard differently or just saying?

I don't ever project that this is burying the hatchet:

Nor that any fans has to instead of a burrying the hatchet, instead be subject to unending implied arrogance for not carying that same attitude with a pre applied blame as well.

I think it’s interesting, but disturbing, that something pops up every year that threatens the success of the team. Holdouts, bad injuries to key players, arrests, bad trades, stupid quotes—drama drama drama. This year it’s disgruntled residents in Oxnard and a potentially DISASTROUS Zach Martin holdout. We’re doooooommed!

Think this year’s drama will hurt us? Think we’ll ever have a drama-free year?
I can remember getting all excited when I upgraded from 3.11 to Windows95. While there was some Internet content, it wasn't anything like today. Now I'm discussing Cowboys stuff with thousands of people from all over the world. Back then I'd talk a little football with friends & customers, but didn't really know or care much about any of the back room stuff.

I don't think any of it will end up being a big deal or distraction. I'm sure Martin will be there

Those are all bad things....but every team deals with them...and every fanbase thinks their team has it the worst.

Just like penalties.
Yes, every team deals with them, and everyone thinks their team gets it worst. But in our case, we ARE the most hyped, analyzed , promoted, criticized, etc.

Are you certain it is?

I do not believe it would fit.
Oh, Jimmy's boat would easily fit into Jerry's yacht...but Jerry has his own rings and bust in the the Hall and doesn't have to borrow anything from Jimmy. I don't know, if he is able to reel in his own tuna now although.

We were talking about real things though...like injuries, holdouts, and penalties....which over time happen evenly to all teams.

If ur talking about the Stephan A Smiths of the world yammering about a team...then yeah Dallas is a frequent topic...

There is no drama. It’s just a “report” and hasn’t even had an impact.

You’re not hearing me. OF COURSE they happen evenly over time to everyone. The media simply overreacts more when it’s Dallas. We are the Yankees of the NFL. We all know it, but some won’t acknowledge it.

So, um, before you jump, please read the entire story. It is a third-hand report of something that someone else thinks *MIGHT* happen. Until you can show me an interview of Zach saying "pay me or I'm out.", then it is all just speculation.

More than 50 players, a dozen coaches, some executives with less than shiny personal reputations....

With so many variables, the probability of no holdouts, no personal issues, no injuries is exponentially fractional.

There will always be something and, if there isn't, the media will fabricate something. They have to. What are they going to write about?

It won't. Way overblown story.

Jerry says and does stupid things. We all agree.

He isn't stupid enough to let this become an issue.
We all hope. No guarantees. All I’m saying is the media benefits from drama, and we’re their cash cow.

Before you, um, assume I’m suicidal, why don’t you read my post without overreaction? I already said I don’t think it’ll be a problem, just that the media stirs the drama hoping to make it something.

Geez, guys! Relax.

Neither the disgruntled resident or Martins threat to hold out will hurt the Cowboys.

So no the drama won't hurt us.
I agree. The NFL was functioning before Martin and will not fold because him, Barkley and a few others sit out a season. Some fans panic too much concerning the business of football.

God invented noise and catastrophes and does not care about Oxnard Karens.

Also, I am sure tha Martin will show up and the Cowboys will do the right thing --- the sooner tha better.

I’m interested in the Oxnard residents complaint. First look it appears they have a legit complaint.
They might. But either way, it will not affect the team. If they sue, it will be handled by lawyers. It's not like Dak will be heading up the Cowboys defense against any suit that is filed. The worst case is the Cowboys pack up and head back to Tx to do camp.
