IF we could get some young talent at a position of need for a decent price I would do it. We have to start SOMEWHERE.

If we don't do any trades, this team should make some changes to players who start. You have a weakness in many areas but there are some things that can be done. I think donovan wilson is good against the run but as the ball hawk or defender he cannot cover. Hooker is not fast and out of position to make plays. Steele is just bad, move Guyton over there and slide Smith back to left and put Bass at left guard. Try Flournoy over Brooks, guy is forever falling down.
nothing enough can be done to help this team this season....as much as Jerry wants to spin and say what he says, his goal being to keep cowboys on the news, he is already making plans for next off season and how he is going to bring fans back.

I don’t understand why fans want to trade draft picks when thats the only way they attempt to improve over the off-season…every year.

Miracle drafts, probably 2-3 in a row, is the only way their plan could work. Even if that does indeed happen, they can’t keep them all since they wait to sign them long term until they command max dollars.

Even then the talent is probably wasted on inferior coaching with dated schemes so Jerry can be the man and the clear cut boss of everyone.

I’d love to be way wrong, but I’m thinking I’m not.

I don’t know why people are expecting Jerry to make moves. He has continuously shown us by example that he is not a legitimate GM; he has the luxury of not being accountable for his actions, unlike any GM in the NFL

It is so frustrating as a long-time fan to watch other franchises, who were once floundering, surpass Dallas in terms of talent, scheme and coaching….while Jerry is still resting on the laurels of his Super Bowl-winning teams in the 90’s, in which he played no pivotal role.

This franchise is in dire straits.

If you are expecting any trade movement than I am sorry to disappoint you, it's just not going to happen.
We are all in with who we have.

I'm thinking that trading pieces away may be good.

We do that in the draft at this point unless we were innovative enough to grab a gem off a PS from some team, but dont ask me who that might be...
I would have to tell you.

I think you leave Guyton and Smith right where they are and see if Guyton develops for this year. It's a lost cause either way so give him all the reps and take what comes. He will either show he can be the LT of the future or he will show you otherwise.
Id move Tyler to RT. At RT he could be somewhere between Erik Williams and Lane Johnson

When Jerry said he was "all in"....What he was really trying to say is...he was done making moves to the roster...it'sgood enoughin his estimation....it's fully apparent he tapped out making moves in the off season.

If we get miracle drafts but thenproblem with the strategy which you are correct it is our strategy is that you can also screw it up 2 or 3 years in a row and you end up where we are based on last two drafts....
