I agree, and especially with the disruption on the line as Tucker gets up to par, and the loss of Crayton's blocking and receiving, and possibly Dan not being 100 percent, Bledsoe needs a tailback who has a chance to make teams scheme him. Whoever can contribute most to getting defenders off the QB's neck, I am for..and T2's acceleration looks like the best ticket.ravidubey said:T2 puts pressure on the defense because they have to respect his speed-- this is the primary responsiblity of a running back. Blocking is the 2nd responsibility. Churning out 2.x yards per carry and chewing up clock is all fine and dandy if your defense is pitching a shutout and your passing game is smoking, but we all know that is not going to happen. Dallas must be aggressive and not just in the passing game.
Anyone with half a clue who watched that Giants game (or any other game this season) knows that seven guys can EASILY stop Barber and Thomas.
This is the game where we see the scheming designed to stop the pass and the run has to pick up the slack. Julius isn't going to play and if he is playing he's most likely going to hurt himself more and/or be much less effective. T2 proved against Philadelphia that he can move the chains when everyone knows he's getting the ball. It's night and day when compared with Barber/Thomas, really. :grrr:

That is certainly true.Murph80 said:What is nice about Barber and what Bill likes is that Barber is the best reciever out of the back field we have. Better than JJ.
