Belecheks talent is on the defensive side of the ball. He needs to go somewhere that has a QB and an offense that can support his defense. NE’s offense was among the worst if not the worst in the NFL. He’s not going anywhere to inherit another situation like that.

Brady was the perfect QB bc he had the rare ability to make the guys around him better. Guys like Edelman and welker and brown and branch. These guys were average nfl players without Brady.

Belechek is going to do the same thing Brady did when he left NE. He is going to find the best situation with a roster he can win with.

And when he doesn't win can we stop the myth about him being a good coach? I'd bet money he won't sniff a conf championship no matter where he goes

You can go argue with the HOF bc his jacket is waiting on him. You just don’t like him. I hear the same dumb kind of arguments on here about Jimmy Johnson.

There's a lot for the eye to see, and what's seen has to be compared to what else is out there. As I've said elsewhere, the run blocking carries some blame for the running game problems, but so do the backs and the scheme. Using Pollard as a middle runner with a few runs to the outside is not playing him to his strengths. Then, our second back is Rico Dowdle. Anyone who thinks that is sufficient does not know what a top-notch running back looks like. Dowdle is an OK NFL runner, but that's it. If we had a 1-2 punch as good as our 1-2 punch last year before Elliott got hurt again, fans would be viewing the run blocking differently.
I like your optimistic views

During an appearance on FS1’s “The Herd,” former Patriots player Julian Edelman dismissed the idea of Belichick joining the Carolina Panthers but instead suggested that he should consider coaching the Dallas Cowboys. Edelman emphasized the Cowboys’ top-tier offensive line and talented roster, suggesting that Belichick’s presence could bring fundamental soundness to the team and improve their performance, especially Considering some of the issues with penalties and clock management that current Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has faced.

I mean, Eli manning will probably be in the hall of fame. If you gave garrett Tom Brady he'd be a championship coach too.

Top-tier OL? Belichick isn’t about to work for Jerry. Belichick will want full control of personnel and that will never happen with Jerry.
I can guarantee he will want more control than BP did and Jerry will let that control be taken only from his cold dead hand

Sure fine whatever facilitates the fantasy world some here live in that thinks a QB is so much of the equation for a whole franchise.

I know you're a BB fanboy. When he fails at his next stop I'll be waiting for the excuses. Again, why is Bill not having a qb an excuse to look so terrible?

I will try and explain to someone clearly unaware of reality:
Brady was a bus driver the first two years or so
So what was his huge factor then?
To get more to the point to very stupid people
DID TOM BRADY EVER
Hire the staff?
Oversea the scouts?
Control the roster?
Draft players?
Make trades?
Decide which FA's to get and who to resign?

Feel really foolish about now?

BB is a great defensive Coordinator, but as an HC without Brady his record is not good. He should retire , as every one should give way to young blood, coaching football also need to do this.

Been both HC and GM for over twenty years he might actually be tired of it all and quit
