for some reason he is afraid to play a power game. the deon anderson 4th down run against the steelers, the roy williams screen pass on 3rd and 1 against the eagles...too many shotgun draw plays and trying to trick people instead of getting behind our huge OL and pounding the ball until the stop us.

I agree with running a play until they stop it. There's nothing wrong with getting the defense looking for something and calling another play though. You should change up exactly one play before the D fixes it and brings it to a halt. Hard to do sometimes. I get what you're saying and agree. Run the ball if it's working. Pound them and wear them out if you have time.

yep. i just remember seeing several times during the year where we would have success running the ball and all of a sudden it's 3 pass plays and out. there's fooling the opposition by mixing up plays, then there is fooling yourself by not sticking with what is working. JMO.
