So what do you think happened? You think Zeke just fell off? Or are you going to give me the "he's fat" like?
He is not in shape. We couldn't drag him off the field last year now he is begging out after a couple of runs.

He ate up against 2 defenses which are horrible against the run, and he struggled against two strong defenses. Rams were slaughtered by the 49ers, Morris strolled downfield today for a 70 yard run, the Giants have been getting slaughtered by the run and etc.

He looks like he's missing the holes the blockers are making but that's subjective. The O-line isn't as strong either. Either way, in crunch games against strong teams, the run might go missing this year.

From what I could see today, he was missing some backside cuts and running into the teeth of the defense. Vision hasn't been as good, but then again, good blocking makes it much easier to see.

Ok, waves to get out?

Better?
I don't understand.....you think a guy is suppose to play every snap? You guys are trying to justify this narrative of "he's fat".....let it go. This o-line sucks this year. I don't care what Broaddus or PFF says.

You really don't remember NEVER wanting to come off the field last year?

He literally looks to come out after two runs this year.

He's not getting mile wide holes to run thru

Thought he was overrated as blank last season. As I said then: he gets what's there. I never saw it from him.

I agree about his weight. Dak haters will say 9 in the box.
Jeez y'all are terrible

TBH it looks like he's hit the gym but hasn't worked on other factors as much. His speed is down for sure, and he looks gassed earlier. It looks like he's down on actual practice that requires being on actual field of some kind to get right. He may not be fat, but he is slow.

I don't deny he may need a breather but you guys keep saying he doesn't look like how he does lats season. Maybe i'd agree with that in the Giants and Bronco's game.....but today? He had games like this last season.

He played fine today...i am specifically talking about the pass to the left on 3rd down where he just had to outrun the guy covering him and he couldnt.

At his best, he's excellent side to side. But despite being a track guy, I don't see home run speed. My guess is that a lot of what's missing isn't necessarily the gain on the average run up the middle as much as not getting big plays.

and this season is 19? Holy ****.
He hasn't hit 18 this season. Could be lack of holes. But that run against the Cardinals that went for 30. Nobody can convince me otherwise that he isn't still running to this day his rookie season.

Wait, you think last year he gets caught from behind on that catch/run up the sideline today?

To be accurate, he's hit 18 mph, he just hasn't gone faster than 18.

He looked like Emmitt catching that wheel route today. Definitely slower.

15 percent drop in max speed is significant.

When the eyeball matches the statistics something is up.

He's not in the same shape he was his rookie year. And given his offseason hijinks is anyone surprised?

Does he seem like a grinder to any of you?
