With RBs it comes down to their numbers. The great backs produced behind any OL. O.J. Simpson and Barry Sanders just to name a couple.
Well those are 2 great backs you mentioned and zeke isn’t in the same stratosphere that said I wish him the best

There was a big difference between 2016-20 zeke and the most recent zeke

Sone will say injuries sone will say wear and tear I think the line regressed so has he

Maybe it’s a combination of all of them

Of course he’s not in the same stratosphere as those two backs, but the point is RBs are judged on their numbers not their OL’s.

Ya I know I’m not certain I agree with it but it is what it is. As much as I love Emmitt I don’t consider him best ever

His numbers are largely because of the team he played with . He’s top 5 but even as his numbers are the best he isn’t.

Just wondering how all the "glad he is gone" people are going to feel when one of the RB we have on the roster now completely misses a blitzer and gets our QB knocked out of the game, or worse.
No doubt Zeke was not the same runner he was when he started his career, but there was nobody better at helping out with pass protection.
I think we will see that first hand a couple of times this season.

Emmitt’s OL gets credit for a lot of his success, but he made a lot of plays when there wasn’t anything there. Not a lot of backs came out of as many piles as he did.

I thought that was a little odd. The Patriots have a thousand yard rusher going into his third season with two others drafted last season.

I wish him the best of luck but I'm not totally convinced he even makes the team. From what I have heard, the contract is based mostly on incentives.

So, in order of most yardage gained this season, how would you rank Pollard, Zeke,.........and Vaughn?

Could be he posted a lot before they started the likes system. Then has not posted as much since then to obtain likes.
To me it is about the quality of the posts. As we have many that hate on everything so the dislikers will always like the hate posts. And run up the count.
Do u know when the Likes count started, I have been here for a long time and I always recall likes. Would love to see thumbs down as well but it seems that would hurt some people’s feelings evidently And we can’t have that!

Hated to see Zeke go. He was a lot of fun to watch early on in his career. Especially that 2016 @PIT game a few years ago.

but come Week 4, I hope Dallas D stuffs him all day long

Agree.

Outside of Tony, the rest are scrubs.

None of them can block either.

I don’t remember exactly. But I guess about 10 to 12 years ago or so. maybe a little longer, close to 15 possibly.
