Damn 6 mil is a far site better than 15 mil. Hell Id have taken him back for 6
Clearly, he a patriot, which it says in the thread title. He’s always a Cowboy man.
Never wanted him back, or he would have waited.Never wanted to return to Dallas
Oh gosh.......Damn why didn’t we get him back for six million?
0% chance that happens.Watch him win a Superbowl with the Patriots.
That OL couldn't do anything without him. His holdout proved that. And other than Larry Allen who joined late, I don't think any of them are in the HOF.Emmitt’s OL gets credit for a lot of his success, but he made a lot of plays when there wasn’t anything there. Not a lot of backs came out of as many piles as he did.
We struggled to run the ball during Emmitt’s hold out which caused Jerry to give in and pay him. We had an all time great OL but the back matters. Although it was a great unit, Larry Allen was the only Hall of Fame player of the bunch. Emmitt manufactured a lot of great runs when there wasn’t any daylight. This run certainly had nothing to do with the OL. LolThat OL couldn't do anything without him. His holdout proved that. And other than Larry Allen who joined late, I don't think any of them are in the HOF.
It's a $3 mil contract with $3 mil in extra possible bonuses he likely never earnsDamn 6 mil is a far site better than 15 mil. Hell Id have taken him back for 6
How true!Only time will tell
Even more reasonableIt's a $3 mil contract with $3 mil in extra possible bonuses he likely never earns
Happens all the time. Veteran baller signs for a contract that supposedly he would not accept on his first team. I’ve always wondered how much is it that the first team never wanted him back to begin with and is just being professional and not saying it, and how much is the agent game of never accepting a reduced contract or the ego from the player seeking a new contract.Even more reasonable
Zeke still counts against our cap.Happens all the time. Veteran baller signs for a contract that supposedly he would not accept on his first team. I’ve always wondered how much is it that the first team never wanted him back to begin with and is just being professional and not saying it, and how much is the agent game of never accepting a reduced contract or the ego from the player seeking a new contract.
Agree.Very happy for Zeke. Glad he gets another go at it.
Me too.Good luck Zeke!! I'll still be keeping up with you.
