FEATURED FA agent thread

I think we may sign both. It seems our defensive mindset as turned from guys that bat balls down to guys that turn the ball over since MM took over.

I thought he was visiting Detroit first.

I'd like to get both as well. I think we can create packages where both are on the field, plus with both coming off injury, it would give us a better chance that at least one of them plays.

MM is definitely less risk averse than Garrett, for sure.

I've been a Cowboys fan for 55 years because they were cool. A Browns fan since I live in NE Ohio. Since their return in 1999, the Browns have been a joke, turning it around the last two years. They've been one of the best teams in FA. Lately, the Cowboys look like they've traded places.

So far, the Browns have signed Pro Bowl FS John Johnson III & his teammate, CB Troy Hill. Hill had 3 defensive TDs last season, with 2 picks & a returned FR. These are the types of players the Boys used to sign, while the Browns settled for has-beens or never- were's. Seems like the teams are headed in opposite directions. Sad to see.

I wouldn’t consider the Browns to be this model franchise. Not the first time they’ve signed a free agent that was known. They’ve always signed those type of free agents. Cowboys use to and it didn’t work.

You got model franchise out of "they've been a joke, but have turned it around the last two years"?! The Browns still have a ways to go, but at least they're going in the right direction. The Cowboys had the worst defense in football last year, & they've signed ONE player who might challenge for a starting role. Their DL is terrible & they didn't sign one top DT or edge guy. We both know they suck at drafting them, so they could have at least tried in FA.

What on earth have the Browns done to say they’ve turned it around? Because they made the playoffs?

As long as it's not a twitch.
Those things can get a bit weird.
Like the curious case of Buff Man from Australia's Wipeout.
As long as what and who. You have too much free time.does your wife know you hangout here like this.?

I don't know. They hadn't made the playoffs for like 20 years or something so making the playoffs would at least show they are moving in the right direction.
