Facebook photo of Plymouth woman at Tomb of the Unknowns sparks outrage...

I'm trying to decide whether to be buried there. I sure as heck don't want that going on for myself or others. She doesn't deserve to have her life ruined but some consequences aren't inappropriate.

What a loser, sorry but if you dont get it by her age you never will.

Oh, brother. Overreaction central. Enjoy your drama.

What overreaction? All I said was that she had the right to express herself. As do others at her own actions. She opened herself up to it by posting it on the internet for all the world to see. She wanted some kind of reaction or she wouldn't have posted it.

As to her being fired, I at first was against it because it is a free speech issue and I would defend (again) her right to say it. But then I found out she was on company time on a company trip with clients from her employers place of business. Employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that will not bring ill repute on their employer. She not only deserves to be fired, but should be fired.

And frankly, the only drama here was created by this woman herself.

On a side note, if you have never been to Arlington or the Tomb of the Unknowns you have to go at least once in your life. It is the single most moving event in my entire life.

I wanted to go since I was 8 years old and fortune had it when I was serving I was stationed at Fort Eustis (cough cough useless) for new MOS training a group of us went to DC and I was so pumped I finally got to see the changing of the guard in person.

Am I the only one who thinks she looks like Kirstie Alley in the first picture?

This is how the whole episode will be played out. First comes the huge backlash against her, then the hate will go overboard and there will be a backlash against the backlash. She will give a few interviews saying how sorry she is and people will forgive her.

That was a stupid thing she did and she deserves consequences, but I find the US to be a very forgiving nation, especially if her regret is genuine.

I'm not condoning ruining her life but she should take SOME heat...

Living in this country gives her the right to free speech, but many forget we have to live with the consequences of said speech. As Cajun said, it is very moving to be there and represents what built this country, so you are going to have a faction of citizens that are outraged...

She very well may lose her job over this, but her company can't have a black mark on their reputation by keeping her on if they chose to terminate her. It seems extreme, but their bottom line will determine her future.

I hope everything works out for the best and that she has learned a valuable lesson...

And the sign is asking everyone to be civil to our fallen comrades. But, yeah, she's just having some fun, huh?

Maybe someday someone will disgrace her grave.

And the sooner the better.

At least she admitted to being the kind of person she is.
Backtracking and flip flopping at it's best. She might have a future in politics.

Backtracking while admitting to being a dousche?

Not sure those two go hand in hand.

And I'm not saying she shouldn't.

I'm just saying that predictable overreaction is ridiculous. She's probably getting death threats, because that's how mob mentality works.

Yep...look just 2 posts ahead of you. Someone already is wishing death upon her.

I'm shocked at the faux outrage over the reaction to her disrespectful actions.

BTW, I don't think wishing death on her is acceptable either. But the ridicule she has inherited because of her actions is very well deserved. And any fallout from her employer is deserved as well.

The people that are giving Death threats are as stupid as she was and I hope people make fun of them too they deserve it for being an idiot. Really have the punishment fit the crime. Look I am a former soldier my self I think it is disrespectful and she deserves all the flak she gets but come on wishing death is ridiculous.

She probably is... BUT she brought it upon herself...

I'm not saying it is right... veterans are probably beside themselves...

She deserves some backlash...

I would like her to keep her job and learn a lesson...

She seems to pride herself on shaking the establishment...

She is obviously a dolt and a bad person given her tweet...

When will people stop posting on FB/Twitter...

Which of his comments were worse than what she did? I must have missed it.
